So you're saying Maggette never got money before going to Duke or Duhon's mom and Boozer's dad never got jobs while their sons played there?Obvious why Duke was never involved with him now. Glad K stays away from these problems.

ESPN now reporting Wiseman will play tonight due to some Temporary injunction
Yes, his attorney needs to quit saying Wiseman is eligible. He is ineligible there is just a temporary injunction in place preventing the NCAA from enforcing their ruling. Memphis playing him during this injunction would be foolish beyond belief and I can't think of a single reason a judge would intervene here.I'm pretty sure they still play him at their own risk. This injunction or whatever it is doesn't mean Memphis doesn't stand to lose any game he participates in. At least thats my understanding.
BREAKING: Memphis attorney Leslie Ballin says James Wiseman has been ruled ineligible. He says the NCAA determined Penny Hardaway helped Wiseman and his family move to Memphis in high school. They are considering Penny to be a booster. I just found this lol
Injunction junction whats your function?Yes- injunction filed. I don’t think there is a real risk for Memphis this early.
Lol no I wasn’t aware, they must have been really irrelevant last year for me to not notice at all. You're aware this is Penny's second season at Memphis, right? That was not "his very first win."
To me, seems the real issue is Penny. Did he disclose this to Memphis and NCAA? If not, HE should be suspended.
Surely that was sarcasm. He knows exactly what Duke gets away with. Hasn't gotten them much lately though. Are everyone of you 5 dook fans this stupid?
Yep, right after the DUI and before the downtown jaywalking case.So a county judge put a hold on a NCAA ruling...?
Ill give you one:Yes, his attorney needs to quit saying Wiseman is eligible. He is ineligible there is just a temporary injunction in place preventing the NCAA from enforcing their ruling. Unreal...
This move will probably cost Penny his job.
Thought Ballin was a fake *** name...Oh the Irony of his lawyer being named " BALLIN". BaaaaaaaHaaaaaa
Pound Wiseman Penny Foolish ???
Damn I was hoping Memphis would have the very first OGAD .. in place of a OAD .. One Game and Done .. HA HA. ..
Yep, right after the DUI and before the downtown jaywalking case.
What I came here to post. Que DJ Jeffries feeling stupid right about...................Not only Wiseman, but I wonder if Jeffries now wishes he had honored his commiment?
Yep, and all it took was some Memphis BBQ sent to his office.
Exactly, he doesn't have the authority. The NCAA should file an immediate appeal to an appropriate court. So a county judge put a hold on a NCAA ruling...?
You don’t think Wiseman knew anything about this? He’s not the victimI really hate this for James and his teammates. They’ve all work hard and deserve a chance to play together. I don’t care about Memphis or Penny either one, but these kids deserve to play basketball. Anyone laughing about a young man losing a year of his life to play and show what he’s got to the world is awful. I hope it works out for him honestly and he gets to play. If not, they still have a good group of kids down there and will be competitive. Go Cats!!
He will just say he doesn’t remember doing it.
If anyone gets screwed on this, it will be wiseman, and wiseman only.
[thumb2]oh i agree 110%. good thing i'm not a supporter of him!
Good ole boy network is more likely but I don't think that will work this time. We'll see.Ill give you one:

morgasginskiiieee I think is how you spell it.Who was the guy that used to post on here that was from Memphis. Big UK fan but knew a lot about the workings going on at the high school and AAU level in Memphis ?
Don't forget the "Homes for Dukie Parents" program. Bagley's and Zion's family approves of this.So you're saying Maggette never got money before going to Duke or Duhon's mom and Boozer's dad never got jobs while their sons played there?
You can’t cheat the system and if you do and get caught then it’s a life lesson. Penny and the Wisemans had to know this was a violation but did it anyway so the kid shouldn’t be allowed to play.I really hate this for James and his teammates. They’ve all work hard and deserve a chance to play together. I don’t care about Memphis or Penny either one, but these kids deserve to play basketball. I hate to see the kid screwed over, but it isn't fair to let him play for Memphis at this point. I'd be okay with them letting him make his way to Lexington. That seems fair.Espn reports that the expenses hardaway paid amounted to 11,500$
Memphis is going with the DRose strategy where you just keep playing a guy you know will eventually be ineligible. Apparently they never learn.
He will just say he doesn’t remember doing it.
