I don't want to get on Bolin too much, but isn't he supposed to be some terrific game manager? Can you tell him why he is not the answer? Can you explain what we should be doing differently with the roster turnover we had last year? Maybe some play calls have not been great, that being said he has kids excited about Rutgers football again. He has 1 year of an actual recruiting class. We have some actual B10 talent on the roster but we are not deep enough to make mistakes.
Take away the bad snap, the dropped Bailey ball, and the huge punt return and we probably win that game.
1. They call the play with hand signals from the side line (and I am assuming some checks).I don't want to get on Bolin too much, but isn't he supposed to be some terrific game manager?
1. Why does he look to the sidelines so often? Shouldn't he know the play?
2. Why are we snapping the ball with less than 3 second left so much?
3. Why do we have so many ticky tack false start and other penalties on offense?
What's truly scary is that Ash will win 3-5 games next year because of a much easier schedule and a more mature team. Which means he will finish out his contract.Love to have GS back but have to give ASH a break. He is only in yr 2 and we are alot better than yr 1
This argument goes both ways. Take away 3 of NU's bad plays and they probably beat us by 20 instead of 10.Can you tell him why he is not the answer? People keep saying this but how are we A LOT better in any aspect, other than the kickers? QB play is still terrible, Oline can't block, receivers don't get open and drop the ball, Dline doesn't generate any pressure, defense can't tackle at all, kick coverage still gives up big returns, and the coaches present no schematic advantage in any phase.Love to have GS back but have to give ASH a break. He is only in yr 2 and we are alot better than yr 1

thats a reflection upon the coaching staff.Announcer questioned the same, game# 4,same coaching mistakes.I don't want to get on Bolin too much, but isn't he supposed to be some terrific game manager?

Terry Shea.....really?Shades of terry shea 1998 sadly....
Count me in as a No vote on the Schiano redux.

Ash isn't exactly lighting it up on the recruiting trail, he's a defense guy whose defense looks soft, and he's proving to be a poor gameday coach. So...what exactly does he do that y'all like?

Blitz packages are terrible. They are so uncreative the other team has no problem picking them up.Ash isn't exactly lighting it up on the recruiting trail, he's a defense guy whose defense looks soft, and he's proving to be a poor gameday coach. So...what exactly does he do that y'all like?
FYI Schiano was
FYI Schiano was 3-20 his first two years
Oh enough with the Schiano was 3-20 arguments. Bill Belichick would have gone 3-20 with that roster. That talent he inherited was on par with today's Morgan State. I mean for crying out loud.... he was forced to start a fullback at CENTER!

FB/TE hahaOh enough of the "Greg was 3-20" arguments. Bill Belichick could not squeeze more than 4 wins out of that roster. It was on par with today's Morgan State. I mean,...he had to start a fullback at CENTER!!!

Umm, Game Day is a problem now as well. It was last year and the year before that and the and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that...Game day was a problem and he seemed to have taken the program as far as he could. I remember thinking the negotiation on his next contract was going to be interesting until the Tampa job came out of the blue.
Sure he looks great based on where we are today and it would be interesting to see what he could do in the big ten but he definitely had his own set of issues.
