Painter is like Mark Few and Tom Izzo. So bonded to his home that nobody even tries to pry him out anymore.

I recall several years ago, Missouri did come after Painter with a huge money offer, but he ended up turning it down and staying for less $ because he just couldn’t bear leaving home.
