VERY Interesting Tweet

Cryptic tweets rarely yield anything
COULD and IF are the words that worry me in that tweet
Rumor is we’re hiring Jamal Crawford as an assistant coach. While it would be a really good hire if it happens, this tweet is insanely dramatic lol.
Apparently it’s Jamal Crawford coming to staff
Jamal Crawford knows ball, cant hurt
his son plays on stokes team fwiw
The news is Louisville has took the lead over Ellis. Major shift yesterday to the cards . Worst news possible for Pope
While that would not be unwelcome, the hyperbole is unwarranted
True. Typically for clicks
Well that’s a positive. Whatever it takes to get Stokes here
I suspect it’s because he coaches Stokes and supposedly has a great relationship with the kid .
Whoever wrote that tweet is quite the drama queen.
That would be a great step forward to be sure
Don’t you have to have a college degree to be a college coach?
Maybe, but a splash hire that yields Pope's first ever superstar recruit would certainly change the perception.
If so this is a boss move by Pope. Although I feel like this is a joke. People will see the (proven coach) thing is bs. Get a legend like Crawford on staff as a recruiter and get a ball team.
Yes J Crawford is a legend to the younger generation not only for his game. But his off the court respect and swag. We need someone (cool) ASAP !
Evidently Crawford son JJ is pretty damn good too, but he’s a 2029 recruit
I've been getting that same damn fortune cookie my whole life
Just dont see it without a college degree. Would have to go the Ulis route and enroll in school unless he got a degree somewhere along the way.
No it's not I'll pass this one, better ones In the portal,Jamal Crawford would be awesome news
I know you do at UK. Billy G tried to hire an assistant without a degree and the administration nixed it.
I don’t see what it would matter if he had a degree or not, nothing else matters
Man I agree. I hope it has something to do with Stokes. But J Crawford is like Allen Iverson light when it comes to influence. He's always been that guy. I would love to have someone like him over the coach that just left us.
Was UK ever in the lead? I was thinking he was a Duke lean.
No I believe they changed the rule on that,he may have a degree anyway, somebody help me in the rule
True. It's like still pretending players are student athletes.
That’s what I thought. It’s a universal thing with colleges usually. Ulis got his degree so he could go to Arkansas with cal I believe.
Sorry Ik this is off topic but our boy Rondo has a degree.
If they opened up coaching to those without degrees the whole UNC fake degree program would now be meaningless. I don't think the NCAA would allow that!
I know it’s dumb but it’s always been a thing. I remember Steve Masiello had to finish his degree from UK to keep his job at Manhattan years ago.
Pope needs to try anything at this point. Need some excitement.
Well I've been around a while and I'm going to take this as we're going to get Stokes.
Look I thought the way they handled Oweh the last two years was going to be positive towards getting his replacement and his replacement is Stokes.

Since the athletic department is now a LLC the former rule about degrees may not apply.
I thought he was in the 8th grade?
I have zero faith in getting players by this coaching staff, nor do I think that Jamal Crawford would want to be an assistant under Pope.
