BS. Ask Trevon Duval or Gary Trent Jr. Both of them jumped ship after one year and neither had the draft stock Herro or KJ has. One went undrafted the other 2nd round

Because to say that one of the best coaches in the country at the best program in college basketball will definitively never win another title is just ignorant. Especially since we’ve been to the Elite 8 7 out of his 10 years here. College basketball is a game of breaks, we’ll have another 1 or 2 break our way while Cal is here I’d bet anything on it

No one should be surprised. There will be lots of whining regardless though. I’ve had my sights set on next year for awhile now thinking he was gone.

Best of luck to him. Not sure how I feel about his NBA chances. He could do very well, but he also won’t have the lottery pick insurance that comes with being picked very high like he would have if he came back. What I mean by that is Lottery picks get the benefit of the doubt if they struggle a year or two. He’s gotta find a way to stick early.

The freshmen who have played at UK aren’t the same players they turned into in the NBA. And posters like you want juniors and seniors- you cant have it both ways. And having juniors and seniors led UK teams has been an abysmal failure as far as winning titles the 50 years before Cal got here.

Do you think he makes another final four? Once you make it that far anything can happen. I’m not going to assume anyone wins a title in the future but I feel pretty damn near 100% he makes another final four. I wouldn’t ever say definitely one way or the other about his title chances though. I just don’t subject myself to that kind of thinking I guess.
