At this point, I'd have to think the ACC is rethinking the Louisville addition. Honestly, at what point would it take for them to get kicked out of the conference?
They've got more scandals currently ongoing than years they've been in that conference. That's amazing! I'm not even including the pre-ACC days, either.
Death penalty anyone? Time to get out the Tux's. A funeral service is coming.
Pelphrey tooYeah Pitino Jr, Kevin Willard....hmm something seems fishy
That may be the saddest part of all. If you're paying hookers to have sex with recruits and doing backroom, shady deals to pay players to come to your school through a third party, you'd think the players would be better.Louisville had 21 feet of expensive suck.

And the irony is certainly not wasted on me... from the FIRST day Calipari came on board, what have we been hearing from UofL fans? "Calipari is shady and slimy." "You've sold your soul for wins." "UofL does it the right way."
Oh, the irony! I must say, it does make me chuckle.![]()
How did UL get the big egyptian?
Squirting to the top of the pyramid. How did UL get the big egyptian?
Dicktino, Junior, Willard, Ford and Pelphrey.UL, Minny, Okie ST
all three with direct ties to Pitino
I can see you've been reading the UL scout board. Every time they get caught doing something some wag over there starts harping about Bledsoe's high school career. Why is SI wasting their time on garbage like this and not looking more into Bledsoes high school coach helping his family from being homeless for 3 months. [winking]
Yup. Katina and her 3 helpers.Louisville had 21 feet of expensive suck.
I agree, that is how the article portrays it, and it could have happened that way. But that is a lot of effort to sign one kid, and not much money. If you are going to pay for a kid's services, especially a foreign kid, it would seem much simpler to just pay someone off under the table. It would be very difficult to ever prove anything if you did it right. Creating a paper trail is asking for trouble, even if you were trying to make it look legal.

Actually the way I read it is that cancelling was always part of the plan. Basically by cancelling the trip they "act" as if they were buying a legitimate trip and then they changed their mind about it and decided to go another route. In the process though, they have to give up the "down payments" because they were always non refundable.
It's a dirty deal that is thinly veiled as a good faith payment. But in reality that 50k was the payment for the kids services. They were never intending on using them for that trip.
UL should clean house but they won't. And what you will witness is more and more scandals as a result because tigers don't change their stripes.
remember when pat forde had that call-in with espn and said he thinks there's a chance uk could experience taint with cal here. remember that? well...

No way he was worth 1,000 goats. Probably more like a crippled camel. They paid his father 1,000 goats.
