please Houston had a guy with no hip
really? I had no idea.
(Pretty sure Dedes and Haywood mentioned it more than the amount of times they say “f*ck” in Goodfellas)
please Houston had a guy with no hip
He hit it off his own hip. Not a winning play. How did Baker lose the ball? Neither defensive player got his hand on the ball. What happened?
We need a reliable ball handler scorer to replace Young and a Yeboah typeAs others have said, I do think this might boost the chances that they come back. I hope it does. Need some consolation prize and we can really do some damage if they’re here again (especially with Jones getting more minutes and the possibility of adding Harrar).
Imagine Baker, Jones, Harper, Harrar, Johnson with McConnell, Mulcahy, Omoruyi, Mathis, Mag, etc. off the bench?
First half (30-27) +3
Myles(11:33) 0 / 1-1 4pt 2reb

Caleb(7:39) +3 / 1-1 4 pts 3reb 1 stl 2 PFs
Mathis was playing alot of 2 guard for Geo, foul trouble.
2nd half (30-36)
Myles(14'34) -8 / 1-3 2 pts 2reb 1ast 1 stl
Geo(17:34) -11 / 4-7 1-2 9 pts 2reb 4ast 3 TOs

Cliff(5:26) +2 / 1-2 2 pts 1 reb
Caleb(10:33) -4 / 1-3 0-1 2 pts 1 reb
Pikiell cut the bench too short in the second half.
I still don't understand why Mathis didn't play more 2 guard this season instead of a wing(3/4).
On the court

It looked to me like a Houston player ran into him but no foul was called. How did Baker lose the ball? Neither defensive player got his hand on the ball. What happened?
He also could have tried to flip/tap it back in play towards Harper who was a few feet behind him towards his right. My first thought was actually that he had a chance to just save it straight up if he looked to get it to Harper. Not an easy play but the angle didn't appear impossible either.Crazy he missed him there. I think he was worrying that the ball would have bounced back and hit him but as soon as it touches the Houston player he's already out. Right there directly in front of him. Wild he missed
To be fair, almost everything. Geo did at least have the one drive down the lane and finish with a layup to get us to 60. It was the only made FG in the last 8 FG attempts over the last 4+ minutes. Unfortunately, just wasn't enough.Unfortunately every thing Myles and Geo did in the last 4 minutes were disastrous
Geo's not coming back. Doubtful Myles does as well. Just my hunch. I think they cemented themselves into RU legacy and why jeopardize it. In the evolution of life, it's time for them to move on with their lives. As others have said, I do think this might boost the chances that they come back.
