There was a second blown layup, and the missed deflection on out of bounds save. Tough couple of minutes.

Hate to say it but they all choked down the stretch. Myles missed alley oop, layup, rebound. Geo tunover. RHJ missed 3. Lots of chances but nobody stepped up. Pike did not help by slowing it down. Terrible coaching at the end.

Yep. I fell to my knees in front of the TV when that didn’t go down. F***.

Myles was bad, but how did GEo lost the ball.
There were a lot of bad plays at the end.
The whole team sucked in the last two minutes.
They were holding the ball too long.
There was no creativity in the offense.

You never going to be this close to getting into sweet 16.
And now we have to wait another 30 years.

Myles missing the alley oop. Leading to a 3 instead of 10 it was a 5 point game and it went bad from there

Couldn't have said it better. That swing killed us. Houston didnt deserve this game

I was just screaming bounce pass! Stephen Bardo bounce pass!

100% said same thing at the time. Brutal.

Still could have won though. Terrible calls. Myles and geo can't finish at the rim. Geo gives the ball away easily ughhh brutallll

That play, then Myles misses throwing the ball off the Houston's guys leg going out of bounds, then McConnell shooting a 3 when all we needed was a two.....just bad. But, still proud of the guys either way; just a massively lost opportunity

The other bad one was Myles throwing the ball and missing the guy 5 inches away giving Houston the ball back. This led to Calebs 5th foul
Crazy he missed him there. I think he was worrying that the ball would have bounced back and hit him but as soon as it touches the Houston player he's already out. Right there directly in front of him. Wild he missed

Really don’t think we should’ve moved away from Mathis there is a reason we got our scores 20 something to 10 the last 11 mins

I agree, I think he should have gotten more minutes in the 2nd half, but we had a big lead. Not sure Montez is who I want in the game with ball security being a priority. Although he was playing great tonight and Geo ended up throwing the ball away several times - so who knows.

EXACTLY! You get it. That was the turning point. It went from an 8 point lead which could have been 10 down to 5 points. Then Myles miss a second dunk and then Caleb tried to be a hero and shoot a 3 which is NOT his shot.

Geo caught looking instead of boxing out on that last bucket was the worst.
That's really the last half of the second half; they dominated on the offensive glass. That really killed us overall. If we rebounded, we win the game. Most of their run was made off of second-chance points; all credit to them on their part.

and then fouling to make things worse..if you dont foul there, its tied and you can take the last shot
That was also one I just shook my head at... he has to know not to foul there... they get the put back, at worst you go to OT by taking the last shot.

In fact, we could be talking about Geo step back for the win.

Myles didn’t choke. His blunders were par for course for him his entire career. Was he supposed to have good hands all of a sudden ? Paul and Montez played better than expected. Geo played well until the end. They played great until they didnt. They ran out of gas and Houston outhustled them when it counted. Houston had better athletes overall

I said that Johnson’s missed dunk was 100% a turning point and that I agree with. But what will live rent free in my head forever is the missed three by McConnell up 5 with 3 minutes left. Not the shot we need in that situation.

Agree I don't think Myles choked, he's just not smooth offensively and whiffed. I still find it unreal that we had zero ft attempts in the 2nd half.

MJ did not choke...he has never been a star but usually block shots and rebounds. He is a role player with IMO not a very high basketball acumen. He played as good as he can and tonight he unfortunately he did not rebound the ball well.
