I agree country was easy to mock and make fun of because even in the face of being proven flat out wrong, the little "oyster cracker" would never recognize it and would just bear down with even more intransigence marinated in uninformed ignorance.
Boomer on the other hand avoids subjects where he can easily be proven wrong with hard cold facts, and instead he adopts this comical erudite aloofness posing as someone who doesn't take sides or extreme positions, but rather he leans back and surveys all the discernable angles and perspectives to get the "whole picture". (gag me with a spoon)
It's comical because he'll never admit when he's demonstrably wrong as proven by the facts, but he nevertheless tries to come off as this above the partisan vermin, elite intellect who simply can't be pinned down on any position because of his multi facteted interpretations or expansive awareness of what actually is correct or True? (of course nothing ever is with him)
It's rip roarin' wholesome family entertainment watching him dance around like a Ballerina avoiding anything that exposes his arrogant intellectual myopia disguised as openness to all possibilities.
