You folks on the Left can't stop Trump on your own with your better ideas, so now you're piling on any Conservatives you can find criticizing him just so you can hopefully get rid of him. That won't work either, and it's pretty lame too when you think of it. Trump has you folks absolutely terrified.
I can only imagine the nightmares they dream at night.

It's 2016 all over again.
I’ll vote for DeSantis in the primary. My hope is that it’s not a crowded field and a fairly binary choice. A crowded field, Trump wins the nom. Head to head? DeSantis wins.

DeSantis will sleepwalk to the WhiteHouse.

The funny thing is DeSantis hasn't even announced he's running. Matter of fact he hasn't said anything! This whole brouhaha is just being driven by Trump's massive ego fearing some legitimate competition, and the TDS driven media going on a feeding frenzy since so many of us have expressed how angry we are at Trump going after someone who's as effective as he was with strong leadership and solid policies.

I'm not going to get caught up in this internecine warfare. I'm happy with either, and I'd be thrilled with both. It's much ado about nothing at this point. I hope both of them make it here to Georgia and campaign for Herschel! That's more important now than this childish squabbling (mostly from Trump)

As DeSantis will sleepwalk to the WhiteHouse.

I think Trump is going to win and people might want to go ahead and prepare themselves mentally for it. If wrong I'll admit if he loses. This prediction has nothing to do with what I want and more to do with I think people under estimate how much people appreciate the **** he endured and what he did accomplish. I think it will surprise people the loyalty a lot of voters will show across the country.

I wouldn't be shocked if DeSantis didn't even run this time.

Agreed. Trump showed tremendous loyalty putting up with all the crap they dished out. The least we can do is support him if he wants to run again. If it weren't for Trump, we'd have no Conservative Supreme court, No Republican Congress, No Republican Governors like DeSantis, and probably no America either! It's his if he wants to run again, DeSantis isn't going anywhere and he can either run with Trump as his Veep or run after him as his successor.

The best advice I think I could give people is don't allow the "Never Trumpers" or the Mitt Romney crowd influence you. You definitely make some valid points. The Democrats saying please nominate Trump are full it. They don't really believe it would be a cake walk. Especially without the Wuhan Gain of Function virus circulating the Globe. Does anyone really think Harris or Newsome would beat him? I not sure Biden finishes his term due to health reasons and the added stress he about to have added.

Exactly! Anyone dumb enough to believe Leftists are going to be any less vicious with DeSantis instead of Trump probably are the same ones who believed Fauci didn't know anything about the gain of function research we were paying the Chi Coms to conduct for us.

Give me a break.

Honestly? I think he’d get beat badly. The average person takes their cue from social media. And Trump is the devil.

Those same social media scribes had Trump written off in '16. Another reason he's so hated. He made 'em all look like a bunch of fools. If he runs again, it's his race to lose. Going after a guy like DeSantis is certainly not helping him with the base because DeSantis is so popular, but again...DeSantis exists because of Trump not in spite of him!

Agreed.
Any one who steps out of the Trump vortex can see he will not win in 24. So much hate for him across the spectrum. Dems will be motivated again and moderates will just stay away.

The way I see it. The truth is that the Dems always overblew Trumps importance because they never understood the reasons people liked him. Now they built their entire platform on "TRUMP BAD" when in reality he was the dam holding back the real underlying movement.
Maybe some Dems. I don’t mind Reps as long as they aren’t Trumpers, which isn’t defined simply as voting for Trump. But if you “Dave” Trump them I have zero respect.

Policy wise, explain for us the two or three biggest differences you see between a Trump voter and a DeSantis voter?

I'm just asking you to define this?

That crowd thinks DeSantis is the Devil.
He'll be worse than Trump to the Left. DeSantis is Trump without the sandpaper edges! He'll deport the illegals and tell 'em to enjoy the free trip back home!

Remember how he shipped all those illegals off to Martha's Vineyard? 🤣

"I'm shipping you illegals off to the most luxurious resort in America!

I agree with this. Trump is polarizing even within the GOP and there will be pro-Trump and anti-Trump voters in the primaries and if there are a lot of candidates then they'll split the anti-Trump vote and Trump will win.

Some of them do, but he doesn’t contribute by picking useless fights and making ridiculous statements. He at least behaves in a Presidential manner. He checks boxes Trump doesn’t.

An unstoppable ticket would be DeSantis with either Nikki Haley or Tulsi Gabbard. And I’m probably favoring the latter pitched as a common sense bridge building campaign.

Using your logic we should allow the Democrats to slander our candidates and dispose off them because they muddy them up. **** that. If you want to vote for DeSantis because you think he can do a better job I can respect that. If people want to vote Trump out of loyalty I can respect that.

Most importantly I don't give a **** if people who are trying to destroy our country like me or not and I would certainly deal with some mean tweets for 2.00 a gallon gas right now vs the no more drilling mindset.

They are never going to stop calling you Nazis. They would call Mitt Romney a Nazi if he won in 2024.

Even worse, he's truly a conservative.

We'll I'm not going to question Trump's Conservative policies (except for the deficit spending) but to me DeSantis appeals to your ordinary Conservative voter better than Trump.

The media successfully exploited Trump's history and background for celebrity and opulence, turning his Conservative objectives into merely self aggrandizing.

DeSantis on the other hand comes off as a concerned working Dad, three kids, loyal Wife, minus the trappings of gold plated toilets and playboy bunnies. DeSantis is also sharp. He's a policy wonk. Trump understands money and what motivates folks for more of it.

DeSantis better understands how Leftists gum up the gears of Government. They have different styles, but Conservative voters are not disappointed with either of their results.

Are you voting for DeSantis over California Newsome, Harris, and Dementia Joe? If not. Nobody should care about your feelings on the Republican nomination.
I probably would. Newsome is too far left. Harris isn’t qualified and too far left. And Biden is too old.

I would believe that if you would have said Biden is everything the Democrats accused Trump of. If you also admitted Trump was actually a better President with better policies that would also be more convincing.

What do you think Trump is shouting that he is about to do with DeSantis? Saying "I've got info that's not flattering"......sounds like slandering to me.

Don't care. They will fight it out and I will support the one that wins. You seriously wouldn't have rather delt with Trump the last two years than Biden's administration? They're nuts and don't resemble the Democrat Party I grew up with at all.

There should always be a healthy primary in the party not in power.

It would be news if someone runs against Biden in the primary.
