The latest I saw before Mullins decision to return to UConn was Mullins was projected as the #14 pick in this summer's draft.
I like Nik and didn’t want to lose him but I’m over it. It’s only highlights, but I already like this Belmont guy more than Nik based on his defense alone. Duke wasn’t super athletic last year and Nik certainly didn’t help in that regard.

Hurley probably sold him on taking Kharaban’s spot. It’s all good . He’s gone now onto completing next seasons roster .
Anybody that could go through a whole season with their teammates and lose the way they did against UCONN and then transfer to that team is beyond belief. I hope Duke gets a crack at them next year.
I coached a middle school basketball team years ago and we had a player transfer to our biggest rival which was much better than us. Our players played harder that game than any all season and came out on the winning end. Much different circumstances, but this UCONN thing is a whole lot worse to me. I couldn’t even look at my ex-teammates, especially Cayden with what he had to deal with.

Hopefully he guaranteed him the 4 spot. I just don’t think UConn is that talented. They have great coaching, incredible grit and honestly a **** ton of luck/good fortune, whatever you want to call it. But those 2 guards, Mullins and Nik doesn’t scare me at all. Don’t know who they have at the 5 now.

We got Drew Scharnowski out of the portal. Decent backup big. 6-9 230 averaged 10 and 6 for Belmont. Could be a sleeper ranked in the top 100 transfers.

I was a big Ryan Young fan. This kid is different. High flyer. Needs to work on free throws. Build like Cooper. Probaby a bargain as these kids from big schools are getting big $.
Yeah it’s a good depth piece as he’s 6’9 and he really bangs the boards. I don’t think he’s a big part of the rotation, but he should make guys better in practice and could give some minutes if the bigs get into foul trouble. Still wish we had 5th year for Maliq 
I’d guess 12-15 minutes as the roster is at the moment, but still there are unknowns.
Definitely a rotational piece for the 4/5.
When I first saw his face, I thought it was Cooper Flagg. They could be brothers.
If I have my math right, Scharnowski is 3 years removed from hs, so about 21. That's maturity.
While Belmont is not on the academic level of some schools we've gotten transfers from, their basketball program is better than Rice or Princeton or other Ivies.
10 & 6 at a midmajor isn't going to turn heads, but for other context, I think he was the 2nd leading scorer on a team that was a reg season conf champ and upset in their conference tournament to miss out on the NCAAT.

I know videos of players can be made to look better than they are, but this Drew kid from Belmont has some swag. He looks to be very athletic. I didn’t see him take an outside shot, but he had strong similarities to Flagg.

Drew from Belmont makes a lot if sense with Pat back. Love it. Can always use length and athleticism around the basket on both sides of the ball.
Get Sarr back and I'll be thrilled. I've been saying for years we need these non lottery drafted guys back. Blackwell visiting right before the portal deadline which is interesting.
Yeah it closes tomorrow so now we are waiting to see what Sebastian, Sarr, Foster and Evans do .
