No hate on T Ville but if Swain had any semblance of an offense last season it would’ve been Draughn vs Swain.
Swain has a heck of a defence, and with the addition of the VEER and I, I would dare to say we should score a few more points a game this season.

If Thomasville’s wide receiver hadn’t dropped the ball at the two yard line going into the end zone, Draughn would have been packing away the football unis for the season. But he did. Them’s the breaks.

I suspect you’re right. Had our best player who missed the whole season been able to play, I might argue the point. But without him and the multiple players out of position in his absence, we finished about where we should have.
Similar situation this year in one way. The guys playing qb are normally in other positions and the ripple effect is hurting us. Hopefully one of those guys will develop the way Luckey did, but we’ll have to wait and see.
I’m not one of those who always think my team is the best there ever was. There isn’t a team in this state that is unbeatable. Injuries, suspensions, excessive errors or pure arrogance can bring down the best.
They might impress you a wee bit more when they stop playing 3A teams…
Get in conference at least they will be going up against 2A…

If it wasn't for the volatile nature of the sport we would never have anything to talk about, on that note I can't wait to see what we are talking about come November.
While we haven't had a true QB in a while, think the Robinson kid is doing fine under center. The real question mark will be the O-line and maybe receivers but believe they will be ready come November. On a side note, think we finally got a kicker.

Thanks TD I think Mitchell is a too 5 team but no one else seems to think so they didn’t in 21 either appreciate you throwing us in I think we are a solid 3 to 4 rd team that may be undefeated in our reg season but that’s just me lolI just realized that Mitchell was not in this group and should be added. They beat Mount Airy in 2021 & lost to Tarboro in 2021 and went 8-4 last year ! ! ! I do believe Mitchell would have way more than Andrew's 2 votes

You got the first 2 right way off on 3 and 4 this Mitchell team is special I’m telling you to leave Mitchell out of the top 5 means you haven’t seen how well they play together killer defense gonna surprise some people come playoff time Heritage is not as good as folks think I have to say I thought they’d be 4 and 0 right now instead of barely 2 and 2
Mtn Heritage is 2 scores better than Mitchell right now IMO.

If Mitchell barely beat my Alleghany Trojans without our running back playing they are definitely not top 5
I would add Swain into the mix of the top 5, their defense is top notch and has the best D-Line I've seen in years. Tuscola has a all state center and their line was big and athletics but Swain manhandle them up front and controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Ain’t got either one. Kinda like baseball team in spring. Not very impressive. We know they didn’t do well in playoffs either

No disrespect but im not sure Mitchell belongs here. They may of had a real bad game vs Allegheny but that's a bad win. They are Mitchell so I can't count them out
Rville scored every time we had the ball in the first half and held #3 to 20 yds rushing while game rushing.
