I can't believe how lost Skal is. He has nothing but fouls on his stat line. What is he waiting for? Basically we are down a man when he is in the game.

I don't get some of you dudes. How was it not obvious that Tyler was that important before this? This team is full of freshman and guards may be some of the harder positions to bring along.
Can you imagine Michigan St. without Valentine? Bet they wouldn't look like a top 5 team. How about Duke last year without Okafor? Not surprising at all that Tyler is that guy for us this year. FT's are the only real surprise I've seen thus far. TOs are going to happen to freshman guards playing with other freshmen and I expect that to improvement as they get a better feel for the offense.
I still don't think we should be having this much trouble with Illinois St. but they are laying a nice blueprint of hack-a-cat because we can't pull away only hitting 50%.

Why isn't Murray running the point? Briscoe isn't doing a very good job at all.. Hell let Hawkins run it and see..

I think you missed the point entirely. Nobody said anything about Briscoe and Murray sitting out.

I guess our young freshman are supposed to beat teams like this by 25? 35? 45? I guess they don't get time to learn the speed and flow of college basketball. I guess no one should get by now that cal schedules early tough games against teams that throw different looks, like this.

We have no good shooters other than Ulis. 16 missed free throws tonight. No excuse for that whatsoever. Skal is nowhere to be found tonight.
Heck don't try talking sense. Many seem to carry their cents in their pockets.
Don't buy that. Murray is also a good shooter, and Willis can hit the 3. I think this team will be shooting a decent amount better by the end of the year.
