They absolutely did. I never thought I'd see the party I have belonged to for 4 decades do what it did today. After today I'm not sure I'm a Republican anymore. I'm not a Democrat for sure, but I do not want to be associated in anyway with what happened at the Capitol today. I always figured if I ever saw the Capitol violently stormed it would be leftists doing it.

Plenty of problems on both sides of the aisle. Antifa and their shenanigans created a lot of the violence that occurred during the BLM protests which included a number of deaths. Just really sad what is going on in our country from extremists with hatred and vile on both sides.

Antifa in the Capitol today. I'm sure some Trump supporters lost their minds too but you can't but all the blame of today on them

So let me get this straight...

Antifa... disguised as Buffalo skinned and rebel flag waving Trump supporters... attended the Trump rally, led a small group of unwitting Trump supporters to the Capitol, under the directions of Trump, then forcibly entered the Capitol... all in an effort to STOP the Electoral College count, thus preventing indefinitely the process that officially certifies Joe Biden as the next President of the United States?

Seems credible**
Big, if true**

Classic bruiser post. Make an over the top claim and follow it up with **** that ostensibly relates to the topic at hand.

- you think each side is going to go to war? damn man, when do you think thats going to happen?...or do you know enough to make a bold prediction like that, but not know enough to have a clue as to when?
- mail in voting didnt 17 anything up, no matter how badly you wish it did. Estonia is basically fully on the cloud for all government interaction and nobody's identity has been stolent/hijacked. Yet you are, arguing that voting still only be in person. That is a massive issue for millions in this country. Everyone here should want MORE citizen involvement in the voting process- so make voting easier and more convenient.

I agree that mail-in voting (or, absentee voting) should be available to registered voters in some circumstances.

However, the way mail-in voting was done by different states in the 2020 Presidential election greatly increased the potential for voter fraud.

In my opinion, for federal elections (e.g., US President, Senator, US Representative), every state should have the same rules for mail-in voting. We must have one set of rules that all states follow and enables every state to document that each vote cast was legitimate.

Otherwise, we get chaos . . . like the 2020 election and what's happening today.

I am a Trump supporter and I wish He would have stood down and let it go.

There will come a time when each side will have to stand and fight, yes war fight) for their beliefs, but this is not yet that time. When it comes we will see who has the conviction to fight and die if they must for their cause. Yet, now is not the time. We all still have liberties that are protected by the Constitution and as long as those liberties remain available, then we need to continue to voice our differences at the ballot box. But there should never again be vote by mail. Absentee ballots for people who will cannot vote in person due to existing health, work or military and missionary work, absolutely, but vote by mail just because you don’t want or will not go stand in line to vote, when 100’s of thousands stood in lines to protest, or go to games, or grocery stores or walmart or the pharmacy or the garden center or to get a drivers license, or to get free phones? NO MORE!

What a 17n nut job you are.

We vote by mail here in Colorado and it is safe and secure, you register to vote and are mailed a ballot. You either mail it back or drop in a drop box and you sign the back.
Your signature is verified by your Driver's license, you also can track your ballot online. It works.

And that is fine as long as that signature on that envelope can be verified by all concerned. Also the number of verified signature's should match the number of ballots.

Under Colorado's mail-in voting rules and procedures, would it be possible for a person to request ballots for his/her elderly parents and get 2 additional votes?

That really wouldn't be too hard to do, would it?
