Sooo.... Now, you are opposed to Peaceful Protests protected by the US Constitution?
This is not a peaceful protest, just like all the nonsense this summer wasn't. It ALL needs to stop. That being said, this was at the United States Capitol. That makes all the other stuff look like a church social. Antifa didn't even do this. BLM didn't do it. It makes us WORSE than them, WAY worse. The Republican Party was absolutely destroyed today. It will never overcome this. Trump very well may be the last GOP President.

Trump is President. He is expected to act like one.

So are left wing politicians. It's not that difficult to find the incredibly divisive garbage that they have said since Trump was elected. It's incredible how you people refuse to see that.

I am a Trump supporter and I wish He would have stood down and let it go.

There will come a time when each side will have to stand and fight, yes war fight) for their beliefs, but this is not yet that time. When it comes we will see who has the conviction to fight and die if they must for their cause. Yet, now is not the time. We all still have liberties that are protected by the Constitution and as long as those liberties remain available, then we need to continue to voice our differences at the ballot box. But there should never again be vote by mail. Absentee ballots for people who will cannot vote in person due to existing health, work or military and missionary work, absolutely, but vote by mail just because you don’t want or will not go stand in line to vote, when 100’s of thousands stood in lines to protest, or go to games, or grocery stores or walmart or the pharmacy or the garden center or to get a drivers license, or to get free phones? NO MORE!

Classic bruiser post. Make an over the top claim and follow it up with **** that ostensibly relates to the topic at hand.

- you think each side is going to go to war? damn man, when do you think thats going to happen?...or do you know enough to make a bold prediction like that, but not know enough to have a clue as to when?
- mail in voting didnt 17 anything up, no matter how badly you wish it did. Estonia is basically fully on the cloud for all government interaction and nobody's identity has been stolent/hijacked. Yet you are, arguing that voting still only be in person. That is a massive issue for millions in this country. Everyone here should want MORE citizen involvement in the voting process- so make voting easier and more convenient.

Imo, nobody should be republican or democrat. It’s past time to do away with the two party system, or reorganize the structure in which both parties wield power.

This sort of thing would 100% have happened if Trump won.

I can't help but wonder, where are the white fathers?

Looks like a Peacefully Protesting TaxPayer gathering up a token from his tax paying. It belongs to the American People and he appears to be an American People.

If that's true, is biden responsible for the blm/antifa riots, murders and looting?

To my knowledge, Biden didn’t organize the protests after George Floyd’s murder, nor did he give them marching orders to go and cause trouble. He called for de-escalation and unification throughout, which actually turned off a lot of BLM supporters.

I know you’re hyper-partisan (I can be too), but there is no ‘whataboutism’ or ‘both sidesism’ for you here. This isn’t Republicans vs Democrats. This isn’t even Left vs Right. This is one narcissistic limp wristed coward that put himself above his country and radicalized a specific element of his base and is leaving a trail of ashes in his wake.

Completely agree with this take. There is a major lack of media literacy in this country. If it's seen on the internet it is internalized as the gospel truth without a single question.

Bruh, storming the Capitol by force and stopping a constitutionally mandated, joint session of congress ain't peaceful protesting.

First and Foremost I am NOT your Bruh!

Only if you believe in our arisen Savior Jesus Christ can you even be my “Brother”.

Otherwise, I don’t have to like you, but I am required to Pray for you by my Faith! Sooooo.... Father forgive him. There. I prayed for you.

Carry on with your snow flaking now.

Republicans have a major misinformation problems. Major, major problems. Trump formed a voter committee to explore fraud in 2017. It didn’t find anything. Rather than issue a report saying “we couldn’t find any fraud”, they disbanded the committee without a finding. Then, in 2020, the Trump campaign went 1-50 (60?) in court decisions.

Trump probably spent $100,000,000 and didn’t change a single vote.

All that should reinforce your faith in our democracy and institutions. Instead, they just withdraw further. Fox News isn’t extreme enough now, you have to tune into OAN or Freedom Network to get the real news.

That constant stream of disinformation is what lead to today.

While I totally agree that misinformation is what led to things like today, BLM, etc... you're crazy if you truly think that CNN and any major network is anything BUT a propaganda machine these days. It's not just republicans that get bad information.... everybody else gets it just as bad if not WAY worse.

We are truly in a 3rd world country right now.

It's being done on purpose. There is a lot of cash and resources being dropped into the destruction of Western culture from within. Divide and conquer.

Don't kid yourself. This has nothing to do with social media.

Ah yes, years of spewing white supremacists, racists only vote for Trump, and Maxine Waters telling people to harass trump supporters had nothing to do with it.

Bunch of stupid everywhere today apparently.

It certainly couldn't have been more disastrous for him and the Republican Party if that's exactly what he was doing. He had this election in the bag a year ago.

Social media is very much engaged and involved in the thinking and actions behind people these days.

Agree.

Facebook, YouTube and Twitter actively engaged to censor conservative voices on their platforms in order to influence voters and thereby interfered in the 2020 Presidential election.

They definitively played a part in what is happening today.

If a person cannot acknowledge this, then that person is in denial.

I can completely understand wanting to keep the inauguration private. I can also understand that perspective that 'we wont let them win' so the inauguration goes on as planned.
What a sad shitshow.

I’d be in favor of 20 year sentences without parole for anybody who forcibly gained entrance to the Capitol today. Like.. if somebody else broke the window and you stormed in? Bingo.. have fun tossing Bruno’s salad in pound me in the *** federal prison.

I’d also be in favor of removing Trump from office immediately, if not sooner.

And I voted for him 4 years ago.

You are a brainwashed idiot if you truly believe that. This isn’t conservative liberal deal, it’s a widespread case of Trump brain worms.
