People need to get a hold of themselves first.
We need to mandate every American watch the documentary “the social dilemma” and the. After they’re finished, take a deep breathe and reflect for a bit.
Then start talking again.
I'm consistent, and I will agree with you, when it happens on the conservative side I'll call it out (I don't remember many liberals doing that this summer, but oh well).
So please, don't wish death or pain on Trump supporters, so we can stay semi-unified.
I don’t know. Social Media has a lot to do with it. That’s how these crazy theories spread like wildfire at both ends. The more people digest, the more they dig there heels in for “their guy” and stop being reasonable and practicing critical thinking.
Trump needs to go ASAP, his insistence on voter fraud in GA single handily gave the Senate to the Democrats.

This is so incredibly dangerous. All it will take is for one fool to do one wrong move and this will go from tragic to epically tragic.
He can be impeached and removed tonight if enough Republicans will agree. There may be 2/3 support after today.

But if Trump were doing this in 1995 the news would be reporting it, his comments would be in the news paper., talk radio...etc. This is on him, not social media. He has incited this. "stand down and stand by" was not a twitter thing.

So Trump has the Capitol Police tear gas Episcopal Priest and other non violent protesters for his B.S. bible waving photo op but these criminals can storm the Capitol building and disrupt the democratic process because their guy lost. Patriots my ***. They should arrest and try them all.

It's absolutely disgraceful. I'll agree with the treason statements. I have rightly called some of what the left has been doing in some cities insurrection and treason. What is going on in DC today is even worse. They are actively trying to violently overturn the democratic process as practiced according to the Constitution of this Republic. The only charge possible here is treason.
I voted Trump the first time around but not this time. If you can't see the damage that he's doing to the country, you're blind or refusing to look.
One thing that's become clear to me:

There will come a time when each side will have to stand and fight, yes war fight) for their beliefs, but this is not yet that time. When it comes we will see who has the conviction to fight and die if they must for their cause. Yet, now is not the time. We all still have liberties that are protected by the Constitution and as long as those liberties remain available, then we need to continue to voice our differences at the ballot box. But there should never again be vote by mail. Absentee ballots for people who will cannot vote in person due to existing health, work or military and missionary work, absolutely, but vote by mail just because you don’t want or will not go stand in line to vote, when 100’s of thousands stood in lines to protest, or go to games, or grocery stores or walmart or the pharmacy or the garden center or to get a drivers license, or to get free phones? NO MORE!

They absolutely did. I never thought I'd see the party I have belonged to for 4 decades do what it did today. After today I'm not sure I'm a Republican anymore. I'm not a Democrat for sure, but I do not want to be associated in anyway with what happened at the Capitol today. I always figured if I ever saw the Capitol violently stormed it would be leftists doing it.
Social media is very much engaged and involved in the thinking and actions behind people these days.
I agree, what Trump is doing right now is disgraceful, and he’s definitely part of it.
But if this was 20 years ago, What Trump is doing wouldnt move the needle much.
It’s a real sociological event that’s been happening the past decade. The biggest sociological experiment ever conducted. It’s negative side effects on society is extremely evident.
I still voted Republican. I wrote in Reagan. I figure his corpse would make better president than either of those two.
Imo, nobody should be republican or democrat. It’s past time to do away with the two party system, or reorganize the structure in which both parties wield power.

Absolutely. If he had conceded the race, called Biden and told him he would help in anyway to bring the country together and then kept his damn mouth closed Republicans would have won last night. And make no mistake, Trump doesn’t care that the republicans lost, he only cares about himself.
