As far as Eastern Randolph they're probably in control if they want to move to quite possibly #2 by winning on the field.
Swain @ #3 has a hard road to stay undefeated with Murphy, Cherokee and Robbinsville ahead and one thing about it ether they or Robbinsville will have to lose that game. But if Swain loses and then you have North Rowan last game will be with 8-0 2A Salisbury so if they lose then you have Mt Airy while they'll go undefeated their owp will drop while ER's will go up and their oowp is already higher.
But ER has to beat 7-0 2A Randleman in their last game but if they can win out there's a good possibility they end up #2

Swain has the opposite problem as Mt Airy who oowp is very low Swain's owp only .42857 right now and counts 10% more than the oowp but the next three games will raise but just not sure it will be enough to help them even if they win out.
If Swain wins out you could were Robbinsville has a higher rpi but Swain gets a higher seed winning the conference.
Really you need to watch some film and get your head out of the sand. Mount Airy is very deep at all positions. Glad teams down the mountain pay attention. Wow the air must cut the blood off from your brain cells

I assume you mean by #1 will be seated #1 as conference champion not necessarily ranked #1 in the RPI. Because I just don't see how with Rville and Swain with equal owp in remaining games can catch up even if Swain remains undefeated and that's the only game that Rville loses. That extra 10% off the owp counts a lot.
Example right now if Rville had lost last night their RPI would still been higher than Swain and just a little lower than Mt Airy.
Good point. I was thinking #1 seed, but incorrectly said RPI. In that scenario you mentioned, Rville could still have a higher OWP, but Swain would have a .2 advantage in W-L, so who knows?

Which one was incorrect? Possible future or the example if Rville had lost last night?
In the example right now the current RPI is...
Robbinsville 0.70972
Mt Airy 0.66931
Swain 0.65306
If Rville had lost last night their RPI would have been 0.66686 so still higher than Swain

I should have said that if Rville or Swain won out, the SMC champ would be the 1 seed. With three weeks left, there’s still too many variables for me to get much deeper than that.
Big game Friday in the WHC as far as who'll be seeded as conference champion in the playoffs. If Mitchell can pull off the upset against Mtn Heritage and MH pulls off an upset against Draughn you'll have a possibility of 3 way tie. But if MH wins then you could have the championship will be the last game of the regular season between MH & Druaghn @ Draughn.

Ether way its a big game and the way it goes will be a big piece of the puzzle.

Apparently someone's calculations was wrong. They changed Rville oowp from 0.52445 to 0.52781
and Mt Airy owp from 0.57917 to 0.58333 and their oowp from 0.45881 to 0.45801
Andrews went from 19 to 18 and Avery from 18 to 19. Cherryville and TJ swapped places and Elkin with N Stokes

Well if we are blessed with a MA and Robbinsville game, I am betting it breaks the Preps message board and maybe the internet as well.
Most of us MA fans thought we would be a #3 or #4 seed all season. Just have to go 1-0 each week, stay focused, stay healthy and play smart. ER road game last season, was a war and I anticipate more intense battles in the playoffs. The West is loaded with good teams.
For sure, don’t know why some seem out of sorts about the rpi thing. From the start MA never had the schedule for the 1 seed even though they are clearly the best team.

We should be replacing Ash County with a Reidsville or something better atleast scheduled wise next year a defending State Champion should never have to go on the road if they go undeafted in regular season year after it should be the challengers burden just saying this is total bull crap

Let’s look at it this way. Instead of waiting for them to come to our house to bring the fight, we will take the fight to them at their house. It will be a little more heart felt and embarrassing for them if they lose on their home field.

What MA accomplished last year should have no bearing on this year's seeding. Our Coaches are prepared for road trips and this team is focused, close-knit and getting hungry for the playoffs.
