Plausible deniability only gets you so far. Callous detention is close enough. It's like how people sometimes get prosecuted for cyberbullying after a suicide.
You're splitting hairs, picking out a single example and nitpicking my phrasing. And you just looked up how many people died in detention over President Obama's 8 years in office. I've already addressed how due process and rule of law was respected far more under the Obama administration.
Actually there were two examples that were completely false.
“Nitpicking your phrasing?” Your words verbatim: “ The only reason to note the behavior of ( insert names) is to justify the use of ‘deadly force’ against them”. Going from suicide to “use of deadly force”. That’s quite a leap. Oh, someone in detention feels bullied. Shocking.

And I’ve already addressed that when it comes to immigration you have no idea what happened when Obama was President. You couldn’t care less. You just wish things were better so you can continue to villify the current admin with impunity. There were two main differences back then: support of local pd and zero local obstructionists. Why do you think Ice operations in Fl and Tx go off without a hitch?

I’ll play it again Sam for the back of the class.

Re: 4th Amendment ( particularly illegal search and/or entry) violations, it’s the general consensus among immigration advocates that Obama’s first term was rocky to put it mildly. To his credit procedural changes were implemented in his second term and violations were less frequent and less severe.

So... Obamas as apes... is it racist? Or is bringing up racism racist?

This is who and what you voted for. We've been telling y'all this since 2015. Now you're so invested and so prideful you can't acknowledge it. Have fun waltzing while the ship sinks.
I’ll go a step further though. I could trivialize the incident by calling it “arguably racist” or I could just say, like Tim Scott did, that’s racist. I’ll take the second option but that’s just me. Sen Scott is one of the last people to look for racist boogeymen behind every corner so if he feels it’s racist that’s good enough for me.

Fine. How's that trending under someone who has been President at any point in the last decade?

I listed all the names indiscriminately. So one of them only qualifies as a 4th Amendment violation, not "dealy force." I guess you have a pretty good batting average for a pitcher.

What it fellas. Datt took a few days off to figure out what to say because he was hit with rational responses.

After sitting in his safe space, he’s come back to get an argument going over basically nothing.

This could very well explain why the Dems don’t want to deport anyone anymore. Citizens are leaving Cali in droves. Esp business owners due to the onerous regulations and taxes. New York will continue to shrink esp now with Mandami at the helm. As we know, the census counts total residents, citizens or not.

This is what happens when we break ranks. Snark.
I used the example of Sen Scott to illustrate that if a Rep Senator is willing to speak out against Trump, the tweet in question must be pretty bad. In fact, it’s as bad as it gets. Anyone that downplays it is complicit. Someone was banned from this board for a similar type post about an opposing player a while back.

Mac, if you are referring to basically nothing to the Obama's depicted as apes, that is something....that is a long standing Jim Crow era racist trope: that depicts Black people as apes or monkeys is a profoundly racist trope rooted in a long history of dehumanization, designed to portray individuals of African descent as subhuman, less intelligent, and closer to animals than white people. This imagery has been historically used to justify slavery, colonialism, and violence by denying Black people their full humanity....but yall know that already and that's why it is something...imo if they were depicted as any other animal in that video, then yep, its an absolute nothing burger
Honestly, I have no clue what made you post this. I was simply referring to Datt stepping away from a discussion about the protesters/ICE and coming back in talking about something else. I haven't even brought up what you're talking about.

What you did is like me talking to Datt and saying I like steak better than pizza, and you replying to me "are you saying Dawn dish soap is better than Ajax?"

and that is clearly why i said if......right, he went from the ice/protesters stuff and then pivoted to the obama question.....sincere apologies for any confusion and I fixed it...

Pretty cowardly, it would seem, @Mac9192 .

Datt, Datt, Datt. I've already responded to @BOOGIEMAN1914 about this, and he apologized for the confusion. Either you didn't read what I said, you're truly ignorant, or you're intentionally trolling.

You can say what you want about me, but posts like this one of yours are exactly why others take jabs at you too.

3rd chance: Was our President's post depicting the Obamas as apes racist?

Datt, do you think we approve of everything Trump says? Sounds like he was spouting off at the mouth. He’s kind of known to do that.

Other than being very insensitive, and his comments hurting your feelings, what impact is it having on our country?

So no answer? I've asked 4 times, answered your question, and you're still too much of a coward to address it?

He wasn't "spouting off at the mouth." It was a post of a video. It didn't hurt my feelings, and trying to minimize it as such is further cowardice. It wasn't just generic insensitivity.

We can talk about the impact after you answer my question. 5th time: Was the video our President posted depicting the Obamas as apes racist? Not "insensitive." Not "poor taste." Racist. R-a-c-i-s-t. Was it racist?

He’s probably referencing Bondi apologizing to the Epstein victims, as if the Trump admin is somehow responsible.
This is the part where we remind Datt that the Dems were in control of things for four years and were so concerned about sex trafficking they allowed tens of thousands of brown children to be trafficked and did nothing concerning the Epstein files.

After my acknowledgement about the tweet in question, I received no credit, only more snark. Can’t blame you for not following my lead, allowing him to claim another victory in the teacher’s lounge for conquering another fascist on a message board

Told you already it's not about my feelings. I've asked the same question the same way 5 times now. And now 6th: Was it racist? It's a yes or no question. I gave you an absolute, unequivocal answer to your question. Even answering your question isn't enough for you to reciprocate respectfully. And you dare whine about me being evasive ever.

Check out this video, "aoc embarrassed herself"
https://share.google/RDi8KA1ngHwuXMisz

Her performance in Munich should be disqualifying; alas, her primary rival for the 2028 Dem nomination appears to be Gavin Newsom.
lol
That's not remotely embarrassing, despite the Sky News biased spin.
This country has proven twice it's more comfortable electing a classless, immoral scumbag of a conman over a woman, so I have no interest or faith in her candidacy on the national stage. Gov Newsom doesn't excite me, either. I greatly prefer Gov Shapiro or Gov Bradsher.

The many, many Epstein victims in attendance were asked directly if AG Bondi or anyone from her office reached out to them and every single one of them raised their hand to indicate that they had not.
She embarrassed herself. She responded to questions aboiut the Epstein investigation by talking about how high the Dow is. That was President Biden and VP Harris' same tactic for defending how great the economy was doing. You knew they were out of touch then and so did I. The only thing that has changed is that you'll defend our AG b/c of the party she represents.
She also got caught with a binder full of Internet search histories on the people questioning her that she was attempting to use against them.

Donald Trump is a pedophile protector. Likely has committed crimes himself that are hidden in the more than 3 million files his DOJ is still illegally concealing. Much like the President, members of his cabinet and close advisers were/are deeply connected (Lutnik, Bannon, etc.) to Epstein and still continue to blatantly lie about it with zero consequences while other countries are blowing up their governments over the revelations in the files.

The Republican Party (with the exception of a few brave Representatives and Senators) is complicit in the cover up and actively running cover for the President and his friends. The Speaker of the House is an embarrassment. His refusal to provide basic checks on the executive branch is a complete dereliction of duty. All while US media actively tries to report on the files as little as possible. Perhaps, because of who now owns those networks?

At this point, I can only assume that people that still support this President and party are complicit themselves and are okay with the crimes that were committed. Don’t worry though, just bomb Iran, change the news cycle, people will forget what they were mad about.

But, comparing AOC speaking at the Munich Security Conference to Pam Bondi perjuring herself while running a cover up for pedophiles is a level of mental gymnastics that’s worthy of the Olympic Games. You should be embarrassed.

AOC is brilliant, thoroughly researched and prepared. Bondi is protecting pedophiles. That you don't know for yourself that what I'm saying is true is further evidence of the information divide.
