Reminds me of a joke:Good morning from ATX. Mohs procedure fairly painless yesterday. Head bandaged. Must return for next few days. We'll see if he got it all. Need a skin graft.
Lot's going on. Y'all behave.
We've had worse. High, not terrible winds. Blowing rain. All of of little crap to clear up. Big trees down a few miles away. We're in a tornado warning zone at the moment.

Good morning everyone.
I've been back down to the lake the last few days. Mostly remodeling but I did wake up at 4am one morning and had all the kitchen/dining room stuff to move out by lunchtime... including tearing out the cabinets. I made good progress by daylight so jumped in the boat and managed to get a small keeper walleye and a couple of 19" bass. The rest of the time was work. Hopefully I'll get back down next Sunday or Monday and get back at it again.
But first, lots of weed eating to do here at home if it drys up a bit.
Have a great day everyone.
Good morning folks. Sunny and mild in the east. It'd be a lovely day not to be at work. Or so I imagine.
Busy day for me. I envy you folks who are out fishing. BB says Walleye is the best eatin' fish. I don't know, I never had that. When I think of eating fish, my favorite memory is long ago, the late 1970s when I was living in Boca Raton and working for a guy who had a big fishing boat. We'd go out of Boynton Inlet, and catch what we called Dolphin in those days. Later they were called Dorado for a while then I started seeing them called Mahi Mahi on restaurant menus. A beautiful fish, blunted headed and neon yellows, blues and greens. We'd catch a couple 20-pounders, bring them back, fillet the firm, white meat, season and grill and eat within a couple hours of catching. Just incredible.
Ah well, life takes us down a lot of pleasant roads. Hope you all are on a memorable one today.
Walleye is one of the best. A lot of fish meat on it too. Did some trolling years ago with a friend on Lake Steed in Altus Oklahoma for walleye. Caught a bunch and had a fish fry later on. Good eating fish.HA,
Not sure about the rest but the Walleye is the "best eatin fish they is!!!"
Ate my share out of the great lakes of Michigan...
Boy this has been crazy. The buyers are from out of state and are selling legal pot, so there have been complications. Their agent is a clown and their title company is in another state with different laws, so their title company screwed some things up. They are signing the papers in Arkansas and me in Ky. Due to the latest screw up, I won't get my money till Monday or Tuesday. My title company said she won't turn over the keys till she has funds in hand, but I did sign the papers today. what a mes this has been.
Sounds like 5 piece of cake games coming.Morning D-Legionnaires!
Yes... Hot. We have not had rain for quite some time now. Still getting up over 100's here and no letup in the foreseeable future. Low 80's for the monster walk these mornings which shortens the walk as she has so much fur. I let her determine route and turn back point. We only go about 20-25 minutes now at a slower pace than normal.
Reds won last night and are currently on 17 games straight schedule without a day off with 3 of those already played. They play 3 against the Marlins starting tonight and then 5 against the Cardinals starting with a double header on Monday. Going to be some tired Red's players for the next couple of weeks.
Well, it's Friday, so loosen up your ties and try to take the last workday of the week easier.
You folks be careful out there and God Bless.
I used to let Maddie lead the way as long it was in areas I was ok with. Some folks see the dog in front and say the dog is walking you, but that doesn't have to be true. Giving the dog some measure of freedom makes the walk more enjoyable for the dog. They say a tired dog is a good dog. That is particularly true with boxers. By crossing over to the left and right to sniff things, the dog will cover more ground in a walk than a human. That helps with the "thrill of the hunt" aspect for the dog and the tired dog\good dog factor.Morning D-Legionnaires!

Yeah, she goes side to side, mail box to mail box. Mid way through I can take her off of the leash and she is good. However, when comes up to me wanting back on the leash.I used to let Maddie lead the way as long it was in areas I was ok with. Tomato sandwiches?Welcome, look forward to hearing/ reading your spouts. I try to contain but this joint is one of my few outlets but they have so far, not told me to shut up and I am thankful...
Hello All,
Whoa, My Darling and I were alone last night for the first time in a long while.... (My kids take turns keeping us busy.) I tell them point blank to leave us alone but....... Wwweeelll (In my best Rooster Cogburn voice...)
I am having my breakfast. A couple tomato sandwiches with tomato's from My Darlings garden on sour dough bread and my coffee... I am thankful...
I will be going outside shortly to change my oil. My Darling wanted to go to Annadale to shop but in checking, no sales so...
It looks overcast outside but if no rain I may go to my youngest daughters and cut her grass. Yeah it is geting up there, my youngest asked me to show her how to use her mower but that just means; "Dad you do it soon please."
Have the blessed day that the Lord has planned for you.
Oh, my breakfast....

Yeah, I went large but these are so darned good....
Tomato sandwiches?
WAY back when I was a kid, we were poor. I took mayonnaise sandwiches to school for lunch. Actually they weren't bad.Yes Sir,
Bread, tomato's, mayonaise, and a little black pepper.... Not a better meal I can think of most of the time... Nearly straight out of the garden...
I also like that same sandwich with crackers in stead of a piece of cheese. (I didn't have any crackers...)
I had a pound of Black Forest ham in the fridge as well which I like but that would just degrade those sandwiches... I do eat'em that way though....
Edit:
HAHA, I changed my oil in my car today after all that driving. Then took about 15 quarts of used oil and three gallons of used anti-freeze to the recycle center, then went over to my youngest daughter's and mowed her grass and trimmed it. (I forgot my blower so I left it a little messy. I will clean it up tomorrow.)....
Then My Darling called me as I was driving back home and I took her to Little Ceasar's and got us one large cheese pizza and we ate that. My Darling is walking our subdivision with one of her friends... I was going to drink a Yuengling but just didn't. I have showered and shaved and will hit it shortly...
I hope your evening(s) are peaceful and restful...
