Astonishing what occurred in the last 6 years alone. Would have been much worse without Trump winning.
I don’t even know how to process this. I read a report yesterday that 23% of all Mexican citizens are living in America. Then I did some research. Look at what is going on. We are literally bankrolling third world countries with American tax dollars. This is treason.
Here’s the closest reliable data from sources like the World Bank, IDB, and others (mostly 2023–2024 figures):
• Mexico — Receives the most remittances globally from the US (~$62–66 billion annually, ~95% from US). Remittances are ~3–4% of Mexico’s GDP. Estimates suggest Mexican immigrants in the US remit ~17–18% of their income on average.
• Haiti — Remittances ~$3–4 billion (significant portion from US), ~20% of Haiti’s GDP.
• Cuba — Remittances ~$4 billion (mostly from US), ~7% of GDP (estimates vary due to restrictions and informal channels).
• Honduras: ~25–27% of GDP from remittances.
• Guatemala: ~19–20% of GDP.
• El Salvador: ~24% of GDP.
• Nicaragua: ~27–37% of GDP (highest as % of GDP in some reports).
Look at the anti tax guy supporting a tax that he doesn't have to pay. Boy you would be howling if you had family abroad that you supported financially. We should tax remittances. It’s income provided by American companies that is taken out of our economy. I would say something like 15% is fair.
"Just because we hate other races/cultures doesn't make us racist! Your words mean nothing!" - Typical maga supporterMAGA embracing the Great Replacement Theory is fitting, considering it was created by a white nationalist and is a highly racist dog whistle.

I'm sure you have been on vacations, and traveled elsewhere with money you made from the US. You would absolutely support taxing that money as well of course.Money kept in the US gets spent in the US and contributes to GDP and the tax base in other ways. Money shipped abroad does not. This makes up for that. It’s quite logical.
Is there ever a point that you start looking at this practically or is it always just nazi racism? You understand that this is not sustainable and will lead to a recession at best correct? Is that acceptable to you to feel virtuous? We will all be on welfare if they keep this up. That sound good?Look at the anti tax guy supporting a tax that he doesn't have to pay. JFC dude. Do you think we have unlimited money and resources? What don’t you understand about the word “finite”."Just because we hate other races/cultures doesn't make us racist! Your words mean nothing!" - Typical maga supporter
So you don’t find it odd that the countries experiencing the most third world migration are three white countries? US, Germany and UK. There’s like 400 other countries anyone could go to. You don’t find that suspicious at all?MAGA embracing the Great Replacement Theory is fitting, considering it was created by a white nationalist and is a highly racist dog whistle.
What did you wake up enraged about today?JFC dude. Do you think we have unlimited money and resources? What don’t you understand about the word “finite”.
Not really, considering the US, UK, and to a far lesser extent, Germany, have all spent decades destabilizing the second and third world countries leading to mass immigration from those countries.. Those citizens aren't going to emigrate to other second or third world countries - they're going to want to go to the first world countries that offer the best chances for personal betterment. So you don’t find it odd that the countries experiencing the most third world migration are three white countries? So to hell with the people that are native. That’s your position. Wow. At least you’re honest. Pure socialist. Not really, considering the US, UK, and to a far lesser extent, Germany, have all spent decades destabilizing the second and third world countries leading to mass immigration from those countries.. Great non-answer with more grievances and no answer. It’s just facts, if you don’t like them watch CNN. If 61% of immigrants are on welfare and we keep bringing them here, that is unsustainable. Thats not racism. Grow up.What did you wake up enraged about today?
That non-white people make money and do what they want with it? Unlike, white people who make money and do what they want with it?
I know your go to is to blame immigrants for all of the problems in the world. Maybe ask yourself why that is.
What about the 86% of immigrant families who have at least one member working vs 73% of US Born families?Sigh… once again that tweet is super misleading and is just propaganda. It’s comparing 1970 cash welfare to 2020 total benefits. That '59%' stat counts an entire whole household as 'immigrant welfare' even if it’s just a US-born citizen kid getting a free school lunch.
Plus, the white population 'drop' is mostly just the Census changing how they count mixed-race families which used to be counted as ‘white’ before the 2020 census.
It's not a conspiracy, it's just bad math. If you include mixed-race families (like all the census before and why the numbers are so glaring in the tweet), the white population is actually 71%, not 61%. We aren't being replaced, we're just having mixed kids.
These folks already pay income tax on their earnings, and are generally paid below market wages BECAUSE they are undocumented and their employers can therefore get away with paying less. Taxing remittances on top of that is neither fair nor wise policy. We should tax remittances. It’s income provided by American companies that is taken out of our economy. Immigrants are violent, don't work hard, and are a drain on society, right? That's the line? What about the 86% of immigrant families who have at least one member working vs 73% of US Born families?
But that goes against the idea that immigrants are just floating on hard working american born folk.
Immigrants are violent, don't work hard, and are a drain on society, right? That's the line?
Pretty sure all of these were debunked by a right wing think tank literally within THIS month
You’re missing the point. We have millions and millions here, born here and raised here that need help. We pay more to interest than our entire military. We cannot afford this. Period. Has nothing to do with anything else. Period end of discussion. Prove me wrong and I’ll never post here again. We cannot continue to allow that many immigrants in and put them on welfare. For every one going on welfare you need three people working. The math don’t math bro. We are out of money. Thats it.Sigh… once again that tweet is super misleading and is just propaganda. so working in violation of the law (undocumented) is OK. And why is taxing remittances not wise policy? I'm not implying it is, just wonder why you think it is not. These folks already pay income tax on their earnings, and are generally paid below market wages BECAUSE they are undocumented and their employers can therefore get away with paying less. If we are casting about for a new source of revenue, I suggest that we enact a significant sales tax on the sale of guns and ammo. That will raise a whole lot of revenue, and the gun nuts will be the people paying it. That's a win-win.
trump got elected....as Bill Maher said, trump makes people stupidRead this Mr. Compassionate-Empathy...
(The Center Square) – Through painstaking work of police investigators and prosecutors, and voicemail recordings used as evidence, recent cases reveal that American women and girls raped and murdered by foreign nationals illegally in the U.S. fought back against their attackers, struggling for their lives before they were overpowered, violently assaulted and killed.
They did not die peacefully. They were terrified, evidence shows. They clawed, scratched and bit their attackers. Some called for help. And for those who left a voicemail, their struggle and last breath were forever captured on a recording.
They were attacked when they were alone. They suffered and gasped for air as they were strangled. They struggled against the man or men who eventually overpowered and brutally assaulted them. Their bodies were left like garbage, their mothers have said.
They were attacked in their homes or along trails familiar to them that was part of their daily lives. They were given no warning that a criminal had traveled thousands of miles from a foreign land, was released into their country by their own government or evaded capture, and came to their neighborhood and weren’t supposed to be anywhere near them.

What changed?
I didn't say any of that; impressive misrepresentation of my statement. I also don't think that bitching about losing American "culture" is anything other than veiled attempts at pussyfooting around outright racism. What culture is it that you think is being wiped out?So to hell with the people that are native. That’s your position. Wow. At least you’re honest. Pure socialist.
? I didn't say that. Yall's constant anecdotal evidence is ridiculous and not worth anytime. Pull up the police blotter again and find some more black on white crime to make you feel better while you're at itRead this Mr. Compassionate-Empathy...

Ned will say "I've never heard of that" and "it's probably not true" and "most citizens don't know about that, thus it doesn't matter" even though its infiltrating the highest level of our government. Trump is LITERALLY as we speak, trying to appoint a self-avowed White Nationalist as the Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations.? I didn't say that. My contention is the mainstreaming of the Great Replacement Theory, which is an alt-right white nationalist bogeyman championed by Neo Nazis across the world.
I didn't miss the point, I just think the opposite, and data backs it up. You have a built in assumption that immigrants are a cost, but the CBO estimates they will reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion over the next decade through payroll taxes. If we are 'out of money,' we need more taxpayers working, not fewer. Kicking them out makes the debt problem worse, not better, and the majority pay taxes. You’re missing the point. Is that why England is on the verge of collapsing. In theory of course that’s how it should work. But in the real world that is absolutely not happening. We don’t have 10 more years to figure it out. This isn’t hard. What’s the average salary of the people you’re referring to? What type of work are they doing? It’s low wage work. Now look at how we tax low wages, we don’t. How does that contribute? Oh they’ll buy stuff, how much? You think illegals are coming here and inventing AI or something. This is common sense.I didn't miss the point, I just think the opposite, and data backs it up. You have a built in assumption that immigrants are a cost, but the CBO estimates they will reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion over the next decade through payroll taxes. People (citizens and non-citizens alike) who derive income from U.S. sources pay both the U.S. federal government and one or more state governments an income tax on that income. With the possible exception of gift and estate taxes (which apply to a fraction of 1% of the U.S. population), a taxpayer's after tax income is not subjected to a second tax. But taxing remittances would do just that, and it would do it to a small cross section of the U.S. workforce (i.e., resident aliens), a cross section that is already on the very low end of the income earning spectrum.so working in violation of the law (undocumented) is OK. And why is taxing remittances not wise policy? I'm not implying it is, just wonder why you think it is not.
Hermy McFluffins is a prime example of that. Although he was stupid to begin with (Imagine flunking out of Widener "University!"), and simply became more stupid.trump got elected....as Bill Maher said, trump makes people stupid

Yeah that was a poorly phrased sentence that I was hoping would be ignored! I was trying to explain my disdain with the Republican Party embracing a white nationalist talking point and it becoming more prominent of a discussion topic amongst right wingers online. What IS your contention? You need to complete that sentence fragment.
