If Campbell had pulled that against Oscar. Oscar would’ve been called for the foul.
That’s a fact.
That’s a fact.
Your comments are the equivalent of the flop Wheeler tried to pull off tonight in MSG. LOL!Oh, so now we support refs and announcers, lol?
Those same refs missed multiple initiated body leans by the same guy. Elbows to the gut. Announcers, haha...Bill Rafferty, good lord. This board? Questionable...at best.
Look, my point is a flop is when there is no contact. Think the kid at Louisville or Grayson Allen. Again, Wheeler got bumped, hitz whatever you want to call it...he tried to sell it. He didn't act like he got shot. It should have been a no call or offensive...JJ initiated contact.
Did JJ hit Wheeler? Yes or no? I don't give a **** if it was barely. Answer the question.
But did they give us a warning prior to the call?Your comments are the equivalent of the flop Wheeler tried to pull off tonight in MSG. LOL!
In my very first comment in this thread I said he GRAZED Wheeler. Watching the broadcast you'd have though Wheeler was hit by a truck. EVERYONE who saw it thought the same thing. There is all kinds of contact in a basketball game that doesn't get called. It was a no-call at best. When Wheeler dropped to the floor like he had been shot, the refs HAD to call a flop tech. It was blatantly obvious to everyone!
When Dook guys do the EXACT SAME THING we cry and moan about the refs letting them get away with it. Now a UK player does it and all of a sudden it shouldn't be called???
Just take off your blue-tinted glasses.
Rule was changed for this year. No warning, it's a automatic tech. But did they give us a warning prior to the call?
Don’t think they have to anymore. Changed it this year I believe. But did they give us a warning prior to the call?
In Wheeler's defense, he IS softer than Charmin, and seems to spend a lot of time getting knocked downThat wasn't a flop. He got hit by a guy that is a foot taller than him and probably has 40 lbs on him. Tell ya what...go find someone measuring that size compared to you and see what happens.
Go watch the replay...he definitely took a hit. He tried to sell it but there was contact.

If there was any contact, it was minimal; thus, it was a flop by definitionIt is about 50/50 on what people think. Go look at Twitter. Everyone isn't agreeing with you.
It should have been:
1. No call
2. Push off
3. Block
4. Flop
Again, JJ initiated contact. You still haven't answered the question because you know the answer...did he make and initiate contact with Wheeler? I will help you, yes he did. Wheeler tried to sell the foul. It was a foul on JJ. He extended his arm. They could have called a flop or charge on Livingston play in game too.
You are being obtuse.
If there was any contact, it was minimal; thus, it was a flop by definition
****** officiatingThen why wasn't the one on Livingston called a flop?
It was 100% a flop. The technical was the right call and whoever taught or told him to do that crap should be fired.
Last year it was a warning for the first flop and a technical on the second flopI didn’t even know you could get a tech for it it’s happened so many times against us
****** officiating
Not anymore. They changed the rule. A prior warning is no longer needed.Ok I read it . Did they give us the warning before they called it ? article says it is required .
Cracking down on flopping is a new point of emphasis this year. Which is why you didn’t see it called in the past. Wheeler would not have gotten the T for this one in past years.Total flop, and they’re supposed to call techs, but this is the first time I’ve EVER seen thrm
Actually call it
Unbelievable that the basket counted on the play.I’d be fine with the flop if the play was called dead at that point as the shooter hadn’t started his shot motion. But you can’t wait til he scores and then call the flop TOO.
See I’m fine with that IF it happened elsewhere. It doesn’t. And it’s happened to us sooooo many times. It was 100% a flop. The technical was the right call and whoever taught or told him to do that crap should be fired.
I've seen it called in a couple other games this year. Once was in a Iu vs. somebody game very early in the season. It's supposedly a point of emphasis this season.See I’m fine with that IF it happened elsewhere. It doesn’t. And it’s happened to us sooooo many times.
So Eff the officials for that. If you’re going to call if fine. But call it for everybody.
Riiight. Point of emphasis and that’s the first I’ve seen it called.I've seen it called in a couple other games this year. Once was in a Iu vs. somebody game very early in the season. It's supposedly a point of emphasis this season.
Flop rule is a point of emphasis this season.
Penalty is 1 shot Tech.

I believe up until this year it was 1st offense warning, 2nd one a T. It was changed this year to tech on first offense. I remember thinking: Coincidence that the rule change coincides w/ K's retirement?I don’t think many argue it was a flop
I’ve seen a warning for flop but never a tech. How we get it and the mountain of them we endure is insane
For all the idiots here screaming “it was obviously a flop and should be a technical!!!!1!!1!”
Please give me 3 more examples this year of technicals being called on flops.
I’ll wait.
