High risk, high reward type of hire in my opinion. He had a lot of success as a head coach in the D-League, and has assistant coaching experience in the NBA.

Totally out of left field. He was an assistant to Dwayne Casey with the Raptors as his first gig. At least he has some decent coaching experience, but if he has any success, he’s off to the NBA.
