Gotcha. You’re just saying compared to last year. For me, I need to know what the roster looks like to determine what he should do in year 1. I need to see how he coaches and recruits.
I think we’ll know pretty quick if he can cut it or not. I was not happy about JTIII, moderately ok without Dawkins, but am genuinely exited about Stackhouse.
If nothing else, it’s extremely interesting.
It’s probably not fair to only use last year as a bar. It really could have been a good season if not for Garland going down. Even still you all should have had a couple of big wins if not for some questionable calls.
BUT, I think he can use his NBA experience as a selling point to recruits. He has the name. He actually has some coaching experience, but he is going to need some quality assistants to lean on.
I would be excited if I were a Vandy fan. As a Kentucky fan I’m looking forward to seeing him on your all’s (weird) sideline. I’m hoping it works out.
