You don’t seem to have any clue what’s going here.

It ain’t the NCAA that’s “letting this turd play.” Instead, the NCAA is vehemently opposed to Sorsby playing. They ruled that he was permanently banned from ever playing CFB again.
That is even worse. Who kept Kanter from playing? If the NCAA cant do more than be "vehemently opposed" to Sorsby playing instead of threatening TT with sanctions if they allow him to play, then what's the point of the organization and why should anyone just cheat at will. The court system is corrupt for allowing it

What you're seeing here is the absolute, 100% corruption of the judicial system.

From what I've read (and if it's wrong, I'll adjust), the judge who heard the initial appeal is a Texas Tech booster. And then when the NCAA appealed, it went to a court that consists of 4 judges who all got their law degrees from Texas Tech.

These absolutely corrupt pigs might have gone too far here, though. It was a 15-0 (Texas Tech excluded, rightfully) vote from the other Big 12 schools that Scorsby shouldn't play.

Its disgusting.
The NCAA can force Texas Tech to suspend him even if they can't do it formally. The NCAA can't force him to sit because of the rigged court ruling....what they CAN do, is rule that each of the teams that choose to not play Tech this season or in the future will be given a no contest instead of a forfeit loss. When their entire schedule pulls out on them, and all non conference teams refuse to schedule them in the future, it will amount to the death penalty. Good luck recruiting into that situation

That’s a good question. The NCAA has basically been rendered impotent to enforce its own rules by shady judges across the country. So does today’s NCAA really even have legit enforcement powers?

There’s been a fundamental sea change in this area since the Kanter days. The Court system used to respect the NCAA’s independent authority. Now it doesn’t. Now whenever you get an unfavorable ruling you just hire expensive lawyers, file suit, find a friendly judge, and get an order overruling the NCAA. Easy peasy.
