Mississippi down 25-15 early not a good start for the SEC and it doesn't help that 3 big guns in Auburn, Mississippi State and LSU are not involved.

They need to move the selection of the teams and opponents to 3 weeks before they play like Bracket Busters used to do. Have the home and away teams set up just select the teams at a later date. Tennessee vs WVU a good example why.

I was just checking these games out.
Bama/Baylor tied with 6:20 in 1st half
Miss/ISU with the Clones up 8 with 7:30 in 1st.

Every year that the SEC plays the Big 12-2 without two of the top teams.
This year no Miss.ST. and no Auburn.
I know four SEC teams have to sit out of the challenge but why always one or two of the better Sec teams?
I mean everyone pre-season figured Auburn to be one of the 3-4 best Sec teams.

TCU should win against Florida, especially since it's on their home court. TCU is a good team and tough at home. A far cry from what they were before Jamie Dixon took over.

Amazing that Baylor is in a lot of people's brackets when they have 2 very bad home losses. At home to Texas Southern and a very weak for their standings SF Austin team. Those are both quad 4 losses.

I think the four team not participating are the teams that finished 11th-14th two years ago. They are removed for two years. The last four teams in the conference standings this year will have to set out the next two seasons of the challenge.

It looks like the refs across the games are letting them play. Hopefully that continues in our game. Hopefully we can get Silva through the first 5 minutes without 2 fouls. Of course that also depends on him not committing more than his usual "what the what" fouls

That explains it then. I don't think it should be like that though. Sec teams always go from the bottom of the standings one year to the top 5 the next year. Always have. Except for UK of course.

They get a lot of cred off of being decent in recent years which is inane?

Kermit Davis at Ole miss was a really good hire.

I was sad to see him leave Middle Tennessee. I know that happens all the time but really like to root for those mid majors and they are trash this year now that he is gone.

Why is the picture so bad compared to say, NFL broadcasts? Can't even read the jerseys from the "normal" view. Seems the Ole Miss home game is much worse than the TCU home game. SEC cameras still outdated?

I'm not big on it either. MAYBE one year but two seems excessive. So much can change. Or maybe the Big 12 can add a few more teams. Speaking of which, I would love to see the SEC add one or two more as 15 or 16 makes balanced scheduling much easier in basketball. Football would be a little tougher.

Silva isn’t playing in this game! He’s not been cleared!

The SEC teams are not playing Kentucky so they can't bring it, Ole Miss at home and getting smoked by Iowa State, wow.

SEC is going to have 2 teams fall out of the rankings this week. Ole Miss and either MIss St or Auburn. Unless Ole Miss makes an amazing comeback.
