Did I say it wasn’t better? I said overall it is still a pretty bad conference.....
No it isn't. It's a lot tougher to win in the SEC now. 8 teams in the tourney last year. May get that many this year. Your take is ridiculous but you just keep repeating it because you think it's funny or cool.

Amazing come back by NC State capped off with a 3 at the buzzer

Amazing stupidity by Clemson who was sucking at the line letting NC State back in to begin with decides to foul up 3 with 8 seconds left otherwise the worst they could done was go OT if they hit a 3. You never foul up 3 with 8 seconds left on purpose especially if u are sucking at the line.

Guess it’s up to UK, UT, and Vandy to win it for the SEC. I’m confident in the first two even as I gag on UT, but it doesn’t look good for the ‘Dores at OU.

In some of the games I've been watching the Big 12 is just playing harder and wanting it more, not all but a few I was switching back and forth they was.

SEC starts out poorly, then under .500 Texas A&M easily handles Kansas State and hapless UGA beats amazing Shaka Smart-coached Texas.

UK game will probably start on Espn News.
If refs call this UT-WVU game tight game will take forever. WV fouls a lot.

I like Vandy to keep it close. Oklahoma isn’t that impressive. Winning is a tall order for VU when they haven’t done that much this season.

Go Vandy! They have had a lot of adversity this year, losing their best player. Would love to see them beat the Sooners...

Ummmm no.

The Pac12 is a bad conference.

The SEC is a good conference and what makes it so dangerous is the grindouse that the league is while being FULL of athletes.

It’s not the ACC about you bet it’s traditionally a top 3 league. And in some ways it’s harder to win road games in the sec than any conference even during down years because of the style of play and the officiating.

When 3 out of the best 5 teams in your conference aren’t playing, you can’t make too many proclamations should the Big 12 win the challenge.

Pretty much up to Vandy to tie this 5-5.
Arkansas isn't beating Texas Tech.
OU isn't good so Vandy has a shot. If it was in Nashville I think Vandy would win easy.

There is really no way to tell with three of the better SEC teams not playing. If it's the best against the best, Vandy and Georgia and A&M wouldn't have been in it but two of them won, so you really can't tell about this thing, Florida and Ole Miss got embarrassed.

Speedy Claxton? Nope. He went to Hofstra. Just looked and his father Charles did play there.
I remember he had a big game when Georgia upset UK in 94, after Rodney Dent went down for the year (checked Jon Scott's page, and it was 21 points, 11 boards 3 blocks).

I had guessed there was a connection when UK played Georgia, but wasn't sure.

You really can't derive much from one day. UT got down 16-5 at home to the worst team in the B12. 2nd from last team in the SEC beat the co-leader in the B12. Anything can happen in these things. Our 2 wins are from the 12th and 13th teams in the conference. Craziness.

Literally three of the top five teams in the SEC aren’t participating. It’s bananas.
It's BS because they do it in 2 year blocks and they 4 teams that finish the worse in the SEC are out. It's really not fair because the Big 12 get the same teams every year. They need to do this on a 1 year basis. Even if they did it like they do now Miss St and AUB would be in it. Not sure about LSU, but I think so. There is no reason to do it in 2 year blocks, but to give the Big 12 an advantage. Schedules are made each year so just do it yearly and the best 10 from the SEC are much more likely to be in it.

I agree they are better than some teams playing but when a 9 loss Xavier and 7 loss Clemson is considered good wins, that says a lot. Arizona is not Arizona this year and will not make the tournament. I did not see what quality wins you posted for LSU.
If you don’t see the difference between ranked teams like LSU, Auburn and MSU as opposed to some of the other SEC teams like Vandy and Arkansas, I don’t know what to say.

I couldn’t care less what other sec teams do. My only concern is Kentucky. I would like to see WVU beat tn but not a big deal to me. I’ve never been into the conference thing.
