No, it’s just Joe, John or Matt Schiano. They are worried they will have to go out and find a real job . . .I think we found RutgersAl parody account

I don’t know what Louisville or ASU has, but Washington and Illinois have the best fieldhouses money can buy. Washington has MSFT money, AMZN money, COST money and SBUX money, as tons of their alumni went there, and they also have boats, which is why sailgating is a thing. Demond Williams their qb, himself is getting 4M, thats most of our budgetStop picking nits. Rutgers' NIL is in line with or more than: Louisville (ranked), Arizona State, Illinois and Washington. Do you know what those schools have that Rutgers does not? No, not fieldhouses--a book of excuses and a cadre of fans that buy into the book of excuses and revel in mediocrity.
If we spend $25M, there are 4 other Big Ten teams spending similarly to us and all have better facilities. Then there are 9 other Big Ten teams significantly outspending us. If $30M is the baseline, then $25M is inadequate. There is a Rutgers Tax due to our situation, which is why we have to overspend on players.Ok. Fine $20m. I'll play by your numbers.
We go 4-8 this year.
"Mulligan" because only $20m.
Suppose 2027 is only $25m.
Well below your $30m threshold for
accountability.
Does that mean no accountability and a other "mulligan"?
Schiano gets to wait until 2028 to be held to expectations?
And when we are still below the ever increasing "RutgersAl required minimum roster spend" - another mulligan?
Seems Schiano can go 4-8/5-7 for life and never have any expectations?
Are you kidding. You actually think $20-25 m isn’t enough to beat UMass. That’s sad. Look at BC punching above their weight. Greg can’t do that. No ranked wins in SEVENTEEN years.
But when you lose to UMass it’s so embarrassing the other games don’t matter. If you’re not competent enough to beat UMass with 20-25 you don’t deserve more to go at the B1Gthats should have been enough to beat UMass, but there are 11 other teams on the schedule to worry about.
Al is that you??Well Greg is a National champ coordinator, that’s the point. I don’t think we’re finding another coach who’s had first hand experience recruiting/coaching with Urban Meyer, and scheming up defenses with Bill Belichick…..
To be over .500 in Big 10 you have to beat 5 of these 9…..
USC, Indiana, Maryland, Northwestern, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Penn State, Michigan State….
So let’s say we play go a perfect 4-for-4 and beat Maryland, Northwestern, Nebraska, Michigan State….no hiccups.
After going perfect against them, now you still have to pick off one of USC, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State…. a reasonable goal to have… but given where our program was just a short time ago… also reasonable that it hasn’t happened yet
Have fun with the other 3000 Temple fans on a Saturday afternoon at the LINC. Good riddanceMe too. I came in with Greg & I'll go out with him.
I didn't go to RU & I didn't even know where it was even though i grew up in SJ. I loved college football & was a Temple fan. When Greg was hired, I saw his 1rst recruiting class and was amazed & slowly started to get sucked in to root for the home team. If he goes, I go back to Temple ( i didnt go to Temple either)
BWAHAHAHA you’re an idiotWe don’t play UMass 12 games. We need to be prepared to compete with the Big Ten. That means getting a Big Ten Competitive Quarterback, which costs at least $2M. Then we’d be ready for UMass.
Oh, the ironyCults happen. That’s the only explanation. People actually did a sit in for this guy. Should all be studied.
Al doesn’t believe we spent that much. He has convinced himself everyone is lying because GS is the greatest coach in history. So if Rutgers is at Total Roster Cost of approx $25m again in 2027 - Schiano gets another mulligan?
Maybe in 2028 he has to actually be held accountable for winning?
For the $30m in 2027 - how do you expect Rutgers to nearly double their NIL fundraising - coming off losses to UMass, BC and presumably a bottom of the B1G finish?
Bye!Me too. I came in with Greg & I'll go out with him.

Good chance either Chris Ash or Kyle Flood will be a national champ coordinator this year.Well Greg is a National champ coordinator, that’s the point. The last time Schiano was the DC was when he was DC for a month. KSU put up like 60 on him. Dude is no defensive guru. Never was.yup
the Aschianos never want to talk about this
