Colin Withers is one giant individual 6'3" 329.....
Woah. When he committed he was listed at 285. Although, that weight could have been old, even for that particular time.

This is a duplicated thread, so I'll only make one more post, Dean Oliver's kid Isaiah looks like a great preferred walk-onDidn't realize we had Aaron Kampman's kid come in from Solon.
A day or two. Definitely not "old" news.Seeing our highest-rated wide receiver recruit from last year is no longer on the team. T. Smith
Is this old news?
Some big boys in this freshman (sorry 1st year class). Withers 6'3 329, Nielsen 6'7 311, Parliment 6'4 313, Riorden 6'5 302Woah. When he committed he was listed at 285. Although, that weight could have been old, even for that particular time.

I like the size too. As to classification I think we will still use freshman through senior. When they get to that fifth year we will refer to the players as fifth year seniors just like we always have with players who took a redshirt year. The new rule just throws redshirt out the window. Some big boys in this freshman (sorry 1st year class). Withers 6'3 329, Nielsen 6'7 311, Parliment 6'4 313, Riorden 6'5 302
No steroids or HGH, I'm sure. Just the natural development of a kid who eats right and works hard.Woah. When he committed he was listed at 285. Although, that weight could have been old, even for that particular time.
Again, just a lot of hard work and good eatin'. No steroids or HGH or anything like that. Pretty amazing. Some big boys in this freshman (sorry 1st year class). Withers 6'3 329, Nielsen 6'7 311, Parliment 6'4 313, Riorden 6'5 302
Nothing would surprise me.No steroids or HGH, I'm sure. Just the natural development of a kid who eats right and works hard.
They only get 5 now.I am enjoying the years being displayed as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.
5 to play 5 right? No need to redshirt anymore. They only get 5 now.
Just going by the roster in the link. players are now listed (on the Iowa website) as 1st, year, 2nd year etc.. Its obvious the "class" they are in school no longer has any effect on how the program classifies them. You are 1st year thru 5th year player now.I like the size too. Did I say anything about substances?Again, just a lot of hard work and good eatin'. No steroids or HGH or anything like that. Pretty amazing.
Thanks for the update as as I haven't looked at the roster. I thought freshman through fifth year senior seemed simpler. But I can get used to the new way of classification. I do like the five to play five rule much better and it seems so much more sensible.Just going by the roster in the link. players are now listed (on the Iowa website) as 1st, year, 2nd year etc.. Wait - You're still not being clear...Are there steroids or HGH involved here?Again, just a lot of hard work and good eatin'. No steroids or HGH or anything like that. Pretty amazing.
