Must mean that Washington or Vanderbilt is likely gone.
It will probably be UK but also read Nova is trying to make a late push

The kid is a monster. A taller Bonzi Colson
Except Bonzie Colson is a better rebounder, has a better outside shot...and Colson can actually block shots.
Travis is good, I will grant you. But he's not the same caliber as Colson, IMO. He'll play/start wherever he goes, but I suspect he could get all the minutes he wanted if he went to Nova.
Better rebounder last year but only by a little over one rebound a game, Colson shot horribly this year so I wouldn’t say better shooter
He has a better touch from outside; he extends the defense a little better than Travis would. His career true shooting percentage is 59%, compared to Travis, who was at 57%... Also, Bonzie has a career Player Efficeing Rating of 29.1 - Travis career PER is 21.5. I would say that's a significant difference. It only takes a few moments when you look at the advanced metrics to see why. Colson has a higher rebounding percentage, assist percentage, block percentage, steals percentage. He also has a lower turnover percentage and a much, much higher Box Plus/Minus. Reid Travis is a very good college basketball player, but Bonzie Colson is a great/elite college basketball player. JMO.
His first two years he had Chasen Randle to run the show. Travis chose to stay at Stanford so he could be the number one option. Colson came off the bench his first year and second as the sixth man. Being that Reid started every game for Stanford one would think his numbers would be higher. Those shooting numbers can lie a tad bit. For two years Colson was the a top 3 option. Reid has pretty much been their top scorer which means he had more focus on him by opposing defenses. That brings down a player efficiency somewhat
I don’t know but Kentucky would be my guess seeing as how Villanova runs a similar style to what Duke runs next season which is guard oriented with a stretch four in the postDone deal.He gone.

What’s to say Duke didn’t but received no interest back. It’s just not Javin and Bolden. There is still White and O’Connell can slide to the Sg spot and Duke can go small with Zion at the five and still be pretty big. There is Also Robinson and Big V and no one knows what Baker is gonna do, if he gonna red shirt or not.Stupid not to go after him. One injury to Bolden or Javin and duke is in trouble.

Pretty bold statement. Reid's pretty solid, and put him on a good team, like Kentucky, aren't they now contenders?I'm gonna assume that Zion is the reason we were never true Reid Travis contenders.
Can't wait for Zion to dunk all over Reid in the Champion's Classic. Safe to say I'm not worried about Reid dunking on Zion, not sure the guy can even dunk...
Dunks are cool though, and normally swing the momentum much stronger than a lay-up would.Pretty bold statement. Reid's pretty solid, and put him on a good team, like Kentucky, aren't they now contenders?
As far as Zion dunking on Reid, maybe that happens. Sure it will make top 10 plays, but it's only 2 points.
I agree, it's neat being the "cool" program, but I'm more in to the end of year results.Dunks are cool though, and normally swing the momentum much stronger than a lay-up would.
Zion has 1.5 million instagram followers, Reid Travis has 3 thousand followers, lol. I know some don't care, but can we all at least enjoy Duke being the "cool" program?
Valid. But with a OAD dominant team, we only have a 33.33% championship success rate, not good enough!Relatively-speaking, for the better part of 30+ years, no one has better end-of-year results than Duke.
You're kind of missing the point. The "cool" part, had Duke as the #1 preseason team the last 2 seasons. This team is going to be top 3? Personally, I think it's a little too high. There's nothing wrong with being excited over the talent Duke has though. I'm anxious to see this team play myself.Duke has always been the dorky-and-win program. Is it possible that Duke is becoming cool? Do we need to recruit more Plumlees or their clones to go back to dorky?
If we can't finish in the top 3, I'll be very disappointed. With Syracuse getting Tyus Battle back, a top 4 ACC finish for our guys is an accomplishment in some respects...

I agree. Duke doesn't want Travis. He is a low level role Player in a bad conference.I doubt Duke went after him. He is a below the rim power forward so not the best fit for next year's team IMO. Now a good shooting stretch 4 would be different if such is available at this point. Reid would have just helped clog the lane up and as a grad transfer would have expected a starting position so prob not a good fit for either party. LOL RR is already celebrating so it would be funny if he chose Villanova in the end.
Really.Reid has never even hinted at transfering. Some media saw him declare and talked about if he would transfer just based on other players transferring and fans have run with it which has turned it into Reid considering transferring. Fans getting their hopes up for nothing
False. Travis didn't start in 2015 and Rosco Allen was the leading scorer in 2016. Travis and Colson have very similar progressions. And as far as efficiency, what about Marvin Bagley, DeAndre Ayton, and Jock Landale? Those guys were all 20/10 and shooting 60%+ as the #1 option.
I’m going to let you sit back and look at those 3 names and tell me what they have in common. Well except Landale. He was a big fish in a small pond.
All three of them were All-Americans... But you know what? So was Bonzie Colson in 2017, and he probably would have been in 2018 provided he were healthy for the duration of the season. Travis is a very solid player, all I'm saying is Colson is a better player. He was a top 10 type player, whereas Reid Travis might be top 40-50.
Healthy Colson or a healthy Travis? Give me Colson 8 days a week. No disrespect to Travis at all. We’re talking Reid Travis. Bonzie didn’t even put up numbers like Alton, Bagley and Landale. He never came close to shooting 60% from the field as a primary option

Why is there 4 pages of discussion about this guy. ? OFC

He likely won’t dunk on him but he would easily drop 20 plus on him. Reid drips buckets. Ask the future number one pick and his 7foot partner
