RAC Atmosphere!

I like Jersey Mike’s RAC and or Jersey Mike’s Rutgers Athletic Center.
I would hope by building out the lobby (like in some of the renderings) and making 118 look like the opposite end line seats would qualify as a “substantial renovation” under the contract conditions.
As for building a new one:
1. Nah.
2. I wouldn’t let them be part of the renaming of a new building unless more $$$$ was offered.

2. Bring back section 118
3. Add suites and premium seating
4. Add bathrooms
We need to do something about that flat roof- maybe open things up a bit. It gets a little loud in there and my guess that it's uncomfortable for our guests at times.
We should build a superstructure around the RAC, and just build the new concessions and bathrooms into that. Make it a giant glass cube, completely powerwash the RAC so it's a brilliant white, and then light up the whole thing with cool lighting on gameday. Completely maintains the RAC advantage, but allows for brand new concessions, bathrooms, etc. Turn the old offices into "premium club seating" and build up a new 118 that matches the student section for size, with a cutout in the middle for the handicap seating.
If that’s not “substantial” enough for Jersey Mike’s I say we rip up that contract and go with the Subway instead. LOL

Now that Murphy is lifting the school mask mandates can we get it lifted for The Rac now.

I just feel like it's the best option for not losing *any* of the RAC's noise making capabilities.
I like your ideas. Any renovation should in fact look to increase the RAC's noise making capabilities through the use of sound reflective materials.I mean, I certainly think so!
