Obviously not. Not sure how that makes any difference either other than you apparently disagree with my opinion and can’t handle that. Are you or the person who liked your post a professional scout?

Legit response . Man I hate the system the NBA has produced.
Seems like we are the team that does it as some sort of obligation . No where but here do players flirt with the NBA and early entry in the same way ours do .
He seems less than borderline. Not a chance he is a 1st rounder. Why declare now? What if he is more than a two year player? Now he cannot go through the process again.
it is true. you can do it twice btw. why wouldn’t he? good lord. And so it begins...
If it were truly just about seeing where his stock is then he should have waited til next year to do it. Doing it now feels more like he’s wanting to go.
Dan, you are speaking with emotions and not facts.
137 underclassmen declared for the draft last year, 72 stayed in.
Far from just a UK thing.
He gone stay
Its not JUST a UK thing , but you know we started it and we have " perfected" it . Yes others do it . No one does it like us . And I know more than likely , PJ comes back . It does seem like shopping your self , flirting , whatever you want to call it . He doesnt need Danny Ainge to tell him he needs improvement in many areas .
Maybe he just wants scouts to tell him what he needs to work on for his size and skill set. Maybe develop D and 3 type style. If the ultimate goal is to be in the NBA, it doesn't hurt for them to tell you what you need to do. If my boss came to me and said, "improve your typing and you will make 1.5 million next year" I would improve my typing.

I really do not understand your frustration... PJ has always been a 2 year player, of course this the season to be evaluated and learn what he needs to know before entering the draft next season.
You would do the exact same.
And so it begins...

File this news under big whoop. TJ said PJ was going to possibly do this and it makes sense . Its not like he would be drafted ( well I guess he might sneak into the last 5 picks or something ) but this is all about getting a evaluation from the NBA and coming back next season and working on what you need to. I think Richards. SKJ and Gabriel should do this as well and bet a few of them do. JV can't due to surgery.
I can't imagine many UK fans are too concerned about this news.
So you’re telling me that if you had the chance to see where you’re at for your potential dream job, you wouldn’t do it?
Also, I find it funny how of all the positive threads about Knox or SGA coming back this is the one you decide to comment on. Oh, other than calling someone a “douche canoe” in the Knox thread.
Exactly why waste that one off on a year YOU KNOW you will not even be invited to the Combine? Silly but Culture here dictates they gotta try.He seems less than borderline. No one freak out lol
Does anyone really think PJ is leaving this year? Why is now acceptable to complain about "the system" even when it's likely to result in a player coming back better prepared to improve himself as a player?
This is just bizarre. People love to complain, and when there isn't anything to complain about, we get creative about new things to complain about.
Damn you. You beat me to it. [laughing]that’s what she said
The system has produced average players with glaring holes in their game to consider going pro early , not going pro , going pro early , before they have too. Really , does he need a pro scout to say " you need to expand your shooting ability " " your ball handling need improvement" " your passing needs help" " you need experience " Does he need a pro scout to tell him the obvious ? Additionally whether , you , me or anyone likes it this is that Kentucky effect . Everyone must try to go early as possible .
Someone could give you a guarantee and then renege on it too(another player they like better falls to them).
For those that say I only like sharing rumors passed on as fact.
I don’t blame him. Nothing to lose I guess. But it’s not even obvious to me that PJ is a two year player. I could see him as a four year player with his size and skill set. I love what he can do for UK but I’m having trouble seeing him as even close to helping an NBA team right now. Maybe I’m wrong.I really do not understand your frustration... bruh no one believes anything you say there are no insiders just people like you speculating so just give it a rest bro
