That is 100% wrong . It immobilizes the foot , hand , whatever is in pain so you don't put pressure/stress on it causing what ? Pain. Sprains are about swelling and pain . Fractures are about needing time to heal and if you continue to move on a fracture it can worsen . A cast provides more protection and immobilization then a boot .Lol, if it was about pain this morning, why was he put in a hard cast? Cast don't alleviate pain...
Oh I don’t only believe it, I know it’s true.Lol, riiiiighhhht!! Keep telling yourself that, maybe you'll even believe it one day! [winking]
You are 100% correct that a hard cast means very little when you have doctors who travel everywhere with the team ( and can take it off and put another one on at any time ) BUT even I think the chances he plays Saturday are less then 50% . Now I think the chances he plays in the sweet 16 if we survive Saturday are in the 70-80% though . That's how I see it. People are freaking over the hard cast part for no reason. I had to wear a hard cast on my hand for 4 days to mobilize my thumb in HS for football one time so it very possible to wear one for a few days and take it off. So that is no reason to freak.
Lol, if it was about pain this morning, why was he put in a hard cast? Cast don't alleviate pain...
I would bet he is done for the year... Foot injury much more of a significant injury than an ankle... His handlers are not going to risk it... SUCKSIf this was really nothing or as minor as they tried to make it seem there is ZERO chance they put him in a hard cast.
He's not playing Saturday either, IMO.
And you squarely fit in that category.Weren't you saying that about people yesterday?
So it's basically Richards and a bunch of Freshman. Recipe for disaster.
Obviously not having PJ this weekend will hurt, but the one’s on here saying we can’t beat Wofford or Seton Hall without him are morons.
Exactly. Confirmed it was a sprain like we believed. Yet after expecting him to play now make decision not to play. Makes little sense.
Lol. Get over yourself.Protecting him for the draft. Sometimes it's easy to forget that Championships aren't the priority at Ky anymore, it's draft night. This stuff only happens to elite talent. Any other player would just tape it up good, if it's a sprain, and play ball.
Cal protects his players come hell or high water which is great to an extent. But I believe it's been overkill too many times since he's been here and it's cost us dearly.
I'm a UK BASKETBALL fan and all that matters to me are Championships. I could care less about a players draft stock.
How was PJ ok yesterday, all tests came back negative, he wanted to play, Cal expected him to play, to today he is in a hard cast?
Doesn't make sense
My whole intent was that it does happen when someone stated it never does. I do not know and am not speculating when or if PJ plays. That is up to Cal and PJ....
I would have been half correct. I said he was out this weekend, which is what I had heard. I was told both games, but still being out 1 would indicate he was out this weekend. Now it very much looks like he will indeed be out this weekend. Which would make me entirely correct.Nah, you were insinuating that you'd still be correct if Washington didn't play today.
You offered no sources.
You offered no details.
Just a vague post that was backed up with lines that insinuated you could still be proven right if PJ wasn't good to go.
The mods had no faith in your thread either as they took it down.
Says a lot of what they thought of your tone.
So it's basically Richards and a bunch of Freshman. Recipe for disaster.
There is not 1 sentence int his post with any truth to it . I mean it is a free world and you welcome to think these wacko things I guess but it makes the whole dumber by putting it out there. I mean the thing about UK basketball being only about championships if your opinion and not a right or wrong matter but your life has to be pretty miserable since we have only won titles in about 5 % of the college basketball seasons . To me it is about being in the hunt and wining as much as possible which Cal has done. No coach has won more or had more tourney success in Cal's tenure in a major conference ( gonzaga has won a ton but they play is a garbage conference)Protecting him for the draft. Sometimes it's easy to forget that Championships aren't the priority at Ky anymore, it's draft night. This stuff only happens to elite talent. Truth hurts! It's been true from the beginning! Suck it up and accept it! LolLol. Get over yourself.
Man we have some candya$$ fans.
Not saying we definitely win without him or that it wouldn’t be close, but we are a much better team than we were in early December and our defense has improved immensely. We are the better team than both even without PJWhy?
We already lost to SH with PJ playing and having a crazy huge game. Dismissing it is what is moronic.
Nope but they help prevent further injury and provide support! Plus it’s not uncommon to have one for just a couple of days. Don’t take a chance let PJ be fresh for the next game! Not worried about Seton Hall or Worford we are more than capable of beating them without pjLol, if it was about pain this morning, why was he put in a hard cast? Cast don't alleviate pain...
Yes, you said on 3 different occasions you had a hard cast for only 1 or 2 days. I know you aren’t trying to convince me, but no I do not believe that at all.
Really? You, of all people, really want to talk about wacko's? Lol It's absolutely true and has been since Cal has been here. LolThere is not 1 sentence int his post with any truth to it . I mean it is a free world and you welcome to think these wacko things I guess but it makes the whole dumber by putting it out there.
Yes clearly it’s all been about draft stock. The four final fours and title prove that! And before it was about draft stock, UK had three titles in the past 60 years. That truth has to hurt and you might as suck it up and accept it since those are facts.Truth hurts! It's been true from the beginning! Suck it up and accept it! Lol

I am not going to give names of people who feed me info. That is the quickest way to not get fed info in the future. Might be why you didn’t have the correct info.
Sure, I did. I said he had ligament damage in his foot, which they are diagnosing as a sprain. I said he would be out this weekend. Appears those details are all correct now.
The mods left it until Cal came out and said he was expected to play, which now is false. I am sure had they known, the thread would still be up. I think we can base this off the fact that there are now several threads with similar titles all still existent.
When did factual become a tone?
Well by definition sprain in ur foot is exactly that torn ligamentI would have been half correct. I said he was out this weekend, which is what I had heard. I was told both games, but still being out 1 would indicate he was out this weekend. Now it very much looks like he will indeed be out this weekend. Which would make me entirely correct.

What an ***! You have no clue, you don't protect your stock by saying, I have an injury. He can increase his stock with a good tournament, I wish you guys who believe this would just go away.Protecting stock is first and foremost at Kentucky. Is what it is.

Raise your hand if you think PJ plays on Saturday.
Man we have some candya$$ fans.
You can’t argue with the irrational bitterness these posters have. When? When has he protected a player that was barely injured and it ended up costing us dearly?
Why don't you run along to your own board now? You are way too happy about this news. You sir are not a UK fan and we don't care what you have to say about this matter, it is none of your businessLol, if it was about pain this morning, why was he put in a hard cast? Cast don't alleviate pain...
