Sorry, I'm calling BS on this. You did not get put into a hard cast for 1-2 days, I just don't believe it. A week? Sure...no chance they go through this and put hard cast on him for today and tomorrow.

I really do not care what you think or believe. BS is in the eye of the beholder. I made a statement that is true. You or whoever else believe what you want. It was not my intent to persuade you or anyone else. All I know is what happened to me. (No friend of a friend or guess.)

So you had a hard cast put on for only 1 or 2 days when you were in your early 20s? Very hard to believe.

Believe what you want. Tell me when I make statements like this? The intent was not to persuade you or anyone. I know what happened to me, not my friend or anyone else.

Something isn't gelling in Cal's narrative.

If it's gamesmanship, it's pretty terrible gamesmanship.

Looks like Reid might have to play like Superman this weekend on the low block.

We still have the advantage over our opponents this weekend, but if PJ's done for the year, I don't get Cal's optimism yesterday.

That’s fair. However I do work in the medical field and find this very hard to believe. What was your injury?

Winning Saturday...assuming the Cats win tonight...is legitimately doubtful without PJ. You don't put a hard cast on someone for one day.

If this was really nothing or as minor as they tried to make it seem there is ZERO chance they put him in a hard cast.

He's not playing Saturday either, IMO.
He's probably not playing in the NCAA Tourney if he's being put in a hard as. You do a boot as precautionary not a hard cast.

I don’t believe this is serious. I believe the Washington’s are making a business decision and he can play.

Because Rupp rafters posters worry more and watch more film then he does. He at the end of the day realizes it is just a game and many on here don’t.

I have three children, two are RN's and on is a CRNA what does that matter.

I had a sublexed patella in one instance and a strained ligament (Forgot the exact term) in my ankle. They were all done for immobilization. This was over 30 years ago so don't quote me on the terms. I am not in the medical field, just my children.

The same way if he plays Saturday. You should be banned since you clearly said he would be out this weekend.
And you still were just throwing **** at a wall and see what would stick. You have no sources and were guessing.

If he was put in a hard cast yesterday, he’s not playing this weekend.

Lol, riiiiiiiight. Are you honestly dumb enough to think they put him in hard cast for 2 days?

I don't get Cal's narrative.

He said is the specialist confirmed what they thought (no fracture) PJ would be good to go.

The specialist confirmed what they thought but they're going with the hard cast?

It's misleading at the very least.

How was PJ ok yesterday, all tests came back negative, he wanted to play, Cal expected him to play, to today he is in a hard cast?

Doesn't make sense

Because they aren't telling us the truth. They almost never do.

It's as much about the games as it is about his pro future. Don't need to go out there saying he has a serious injury and have him fall down the draft boards. They want to let it heal before the pro teams can have him evaluated.

I’m not a medical profession but I would imagine that PJ is receiving around the clock treatment and if a doctor feels a hard cast could improve the issue even only 1% then UK is going to do it because $$$ is not an issue.

He doesn't have a fracture . If he did he would be done but this is literally just a pain issue . A hard cast , like a boot , is used for mobilization and the team has doctors can take it off whenever they want. This does bring into question I agree if he can play Saturday but beyond that I wouldn't be too concerned. If he doesn't play Saturday though the games get much more difficult but we still are light year's more talented then either team. Once you get to the sweet 16 that changes .

Makes no sense. If PJ or his dad don’t want him to play because of the draft then just say it.

If PJ is done for the season, the rest of the season will be very short. Just really bad news. Good grief. How many years is it now that injuries have wrecked UK in the post season? The one player for UK had that nobody would have an answer for.
