This should be an interesting debate. Because if someone knows why pike does those kind of rotations to blow our leads or to tell the other team to take the lead please let me know. (Feedback necessary)
Ohhh interesting. So what’s the point of pike?Knight is in charge of rotations which was posted this week which I did not know
lol idk i think richie said knight was the rotations guy, but ultimately pike makes the call. he's the coach.Ohhh interesting. So what’s the point of pike?
Of course. So you think if Pike was doing the rotations he would keep mostly our starting 6 in? And not rotate players like oskar and Agee who aren’t quite ready for this league yet?lol idk i think richie said knight was the rotations guy, but ultimately pike makes the call. he's the coach.
ya and the second half was complete opposite. maddeningthat rotation in the first half was bad full stop
Yes. But now hearing that knight is in charge of the rotations makes me wonder why pike isn’t in charge of itthat rotation in the first half was bad full stop
good question...agee tried but 2 bad fouls and he was out. second half there was no funny rotations so maybe pike just kept the short rotationOf course. So you think if Pike was doing the rotations he would keep mostly our starting 6 in? And not rotate players like oskar and Agee who aren’t quite ready for this league yet?
I like Brandon knight. I do. Just think Pike would be better at handling the rotations based on him knowing the team chemistry really well. Not saying knight doesn’t I just don’t see the use of pike as coach if he isn’t the one leading the coachinggood question...agee tried but 2 bad fouls and he was out. second half there was no funny rotations so maybe pike just kept the short rotation
You're not serious with what you've posted here are you?I like Brandon knight. I do. Just think Pike would be better at handling the rotations based on him knowing the team chemistry really well. Not saying knight doesn’t I just don’t see the use of pike as coach if he isn’t the one leading the coaching![]()

Pike is in full charge of who enters or comes out of the game….that’s a fact Ohio.Knight is in charge of rotations which was posted this week which I did not know
Pike is rotating 7-8 guys. You need to give your keys guys a rest and have them ready for the last 8-10 mins. This should be an interesting debate. Because if someone knows why pike does those kind of rotations to blow our leads or to tell the other team to take the lead please let me know. (Feedback necessary)
Not what Richie said. Not saying you’re wrong but saying it’s contrary to what I’d consider a very good sourcePike is in full charge of who enters or comes out of the game….that’s a fact Ohio.
I agree…But I watch Pike tap guys and tell guys to go in all the time, from about 3 feet awayNot what Richie said. Not saying you’re wrong but saying it’s contrary to what I’d consider a very good source
Guys can be mentally conditioned to play heavy minutes.Pike is rotating 7-8 guys. You need to give your keys guys a rest and have them ready for the last 8-10 mins.
I’m sure they could but is that optimal?Guys can be mentally conditioned to play heavy minutes.
These guys are young and can all play 35 minutes
I think it depends on the day. One day a guy can go 40 minutes and be great. Another day he can’t.I’m sure they could but is that optimal?
There are some definite issues. Oskar shouldn’t be coming off the bench and definitely shouldn’t be on the floor with mostly other bench players, for example.I’ve never seen any fan be happy with any coach’s sub patterns. The fact of the matter is the starters need to rest. The rotations are fine
Of course. It makes sense just whether he rotated the right players is what I’m arguingPike is rotating 7-8 guys. You need to give your keys guys a rest and have them ready for the last 8-10 mins.
Lmao no I was drunk at the time when did I even make this threadYou're not serious with what you've posted here are you?
Yes. Meaning we’re definitely working on conditioning since corona break. Which is very goodCoach really gambled today and rode the starters the last 12 minutes without a rest
To their credit ...no sign of fatigue
Yes with this team it is in my opinionI’m sure they could but is that optimal?
Haha the good old daysI remember Wenzel used to do wholesale subs - goodbye first team hello second. Back in Creighton Drury days.
I think he has it right. Most coaches reduce the bench to 7-8 players. I think he has the right group.Of course. It makes sense just whether he rotated the right players is what I’m arguing
Agee “not quite ready yet”? He is a 5th year senior. There is no yet“ for him. His minutes need to continue to go to Reiber, who has 3 more years to play!Of course. So you think if Pike was doing the rotations he would keep mostly our starting 6 in? And not rotate players like oskar and Agee who aren’t quite ready for this league yet?
ya that's what I meant, I clarified my statement when I said Pike makes the call he's the coach in a post right after. Brandon obviously doesn't make the subs. sorry for bad post on my partPike is in full charge of who enters or comes out of the game….that’s a fact Ohio.
