We were just lucky that their playing well didn't quite get to the level of our playing so so. I'm shocked curaçao didn't come away with atleast 1 goal.Agreed. How the bleep do you struggle with Curacao??

They are also without Tyler Adams. Hopefully Josh Sargent is the striker.Like most here, I was upset with the team performance last night. Tyler Boyd disappeared. The high press was not working, why keep trying to press? Curacao dictated the style of play. USA coach should have changed tactics (See Jill Ellis),
I know the team is missing two key components (Yedlin & Brooks), but I feel they still need a bonafide striker and another middie (I am not sold on Mckennie, but he is young).
Last three years woman’s soccer generated more revenue than men. When they generate equal revenue (or at least in same ballpark), I would support it. I don't know if that is close or still heavily favors the men's side right now.
I was there at the Linc last night in the AO section...generally a strange night off and on the pitch...soccer wise our shape was a disaster which caused many problems in the midfield...I just don’t get Berhalters love for Zardes... Bradley is a turnover machine right now..let’s find a way to win vs Jamaica...Altidore seemed to be nursing a slight industry while warming up during the match...no mention in postgame press conference on way home on post game show on Sirius xm 157 which had pretty good analysis...

Not a bad idea. That's with no World Cup money to the men. Maybe the men should have been given a salary cut.
Maybe more of an incentive laden package for both teams. If the men had been in the WC finals, their revenues would've been much higher. As they brought in less money, though, that should have an impact on relative compensation. That's with no World Cup money to the men. Maybe the men should have been given a salary cut.
There were several fights during and immediately after the first match between Jamaica and Panama fans which obviously contributed to an uncomfortable atmosphere. Then the wave started during the first half of USA Vs Curaçao . It was stopped by us in the American Outlaws section 129 immediately behind the goal which the rest of the stadium booed us for. On top of that several of the AO members had been drinking for 7 hours so there was some in fighting...a little more dudebros than normal was not pleasant but it is what is...How was the atmosphere at the LINC?
I wish i could have made my way there for the game.
All i consistently heard from the crowd (watching on tv) was the loud boos when their goalie and back line would really take their time moving the ball or taking a goal kick. I dont recall hearing that in any other game and chalked it up to 'philly', haha! (Although i do agree they were really milking it before they got going in a play). There were several fights during and immediately after the first match between Jamaica and Panama fans which obviously contributed to an uncomfortable atmosphere. Mexico in the final promises a packed stadium. The refs 1 Haiti none.
That was a questionable penalty call. And it's clear to me they wanted Mexico to reach the finals.
Mexico's flop game is on point though.
The general consensus is if that same exact play happens to Haiti there is no way they get that call and the pk. I was going to try and pull off going to Chicago but couldn’t pull it off. I will drive the less than half an hour drive to Steel Stacks in Bethlehem to spend the day with friends and watch the Women at 1 on a big screen, Copa America at Molly’s and back to Steel Stacks for a concert and the Gold Cup on the big screen if we beat Jamaica tonight. The refs 1 Haiti none.

He won't be though. He wasn't brought in to win the Gold Cup. He was brought in to qualify for, and ultimately do well in, the World Cup. He will get that opportunity....seriously questioning the hire of Berhalter iTHUS FAR nstead of a Ramos, Reyna, or Vermes (so far)....if we lose to Jamaica, for the 2nd time in a month, he SHOULD be on the hot seat IMHO

It really was - beautiful goal...The teamwork on that goal was a breath of fresh air.
Was cool listening to Donovan, Jones and Edu talking about how bright the US team's future is in the midfield/attack with the trio of 20-year olds, Pulisic, McKennie and the injured Tyler Adams.
