We were just lucky that their playing well didn't quite get to the level of our playing so so. I'm shocked curaçao didn't come away with atleast 1 goal.

A couple weeks ago they played Vietnam who is one of the best teams in SE Asia but ranked in the 90's in the world. It was 1-1 and Curacao won on PKs.

Like most here, I was upset with the team performance last night. Tyler Boyd disappeared. The high press was not working, why keep trying to press? Curacao dictated the style of play. USA coach should have changed tactics (See Jill Ellis),

I know the team is missing two key components (Yedlin & Brooks), but I feel they still need a bonafide striker and another middie (I am not sold on Mckennie, but he is young).

They are also without Tyler Adams. Hopefully Josh Sargent is the striker.

I was there at the Linc last night in the AO section...generally a strange night off and on the pitch...soccer wise our shape was a disaster which caused many problems in the midfield...I just don’t get Berhalters love for Zardes... Bradley is a turnover machine right now..let’s find a way to win vs Jamaica...Altidore seemed to be nursing a slight industry while warming up during the match...no mention in postgame press conference on way home on post game show on Sirius xm 157 which had pretty good analysis...

That's with no World Cup money to the men. Maybe the men should have been given a salary cut.
Maybe more of an incentive laden package for both teams. If the men had been in the WC finals, their revenues would've been much higher. As they brought in less money, though, that should have an impact on relative compensation.

Regardless, I hope both teams win their current competitions.

There were several fights during and immediately after the first match between Jamaica and Panama fans which obviously contributed to an uncomfortable atmosphere. Then the wave started during the first half of USA Vs Curaçao . It was stopped by us in the American Outlaws section 129 immediately behind the goal which the rest of the stadium booed us for. On top of that several of the AO members had been drinking for 7 hours so there was some in fighting...a little more dudebros than normal was not pleasant but it is what is...

All i consistently heard from the crowd (watching on tv) was the loud boos when their goalie and back line would really take their time moving the ball or taking a goal kick. I dont recall hearing that in any other game and chalked it up to 'philly', haha! (Although i do agree they were really milking it before they got going in a play).

This Haiti v Mexico game is....unbelievable. Shocked Mexico has been unable to breach Haitis back line defens. The Mexicans are finding out just how tough Haiti is. Amazing that my countrymen have barely a place to practice, and they're this resilient. Go Ayiti!!!

Mexico deserves an oscar for all the flopping they do. The Haitian players run through their tackles, they cry when they're blown a kiss

The refs 1 Haiti none.

That was a questionable penalty call. And it's clear to me they wanted Mexico to reach the finals.

Mexico's flop game is on point though.

The general consensus is if that same exact play happens to Haiti there is no way they get that call and the pk. I was going to try and pull off going to Chicago but couldn’t pull it off. I will drive the less than half an hour drive to Steel Stacks in Bethlehem to spend the day with friends and watch the Women at 1 on a big screen, Copa America at Molly’s and back to Steel Stacks for a concert and the Gold Cup on the big screen if we beat Jamaica tonight.

USMNT need to play with more intensity tonight or they will lose to Jamaica. If we play the same way we did against Curacao, forget advancing to the final. Saw the US lose to Jamaica in a desultory performance at the Georgia Dome in 2015.

...seriously questioning the hire of Berhalter iTHUS FAR nstead of a Ramos, Reyna, or Vermes (so far)....if we lose to Jamaica, for the 2nd time in a month, he SHOULD be on the hot seat IMHO

He won't be though. He wasn't brought in to win the Gold Cup. He was brought in to qualify for, and ultimately do well in, the World Cup. He will get that opportunity.

Pulisic just made an amazing little run and if our guys were a little more ready in front, we get a goal. He's just so much better than anyone else on our team. In that desultory win against Curacao, he was just about the only bright spot. His footwork to free up space and then his delicate cross to McKennie for the lone goal were gorgeous and his almost goal (an amazing save) with some more fancy footwork was also great stuff.

Arriola needs to do better with that opportunity alone in front (great save by the keeper, but...)

The line of t-storms in the Nashville area doesn't look that impressive, but there is lightning in the area. Really bad time for the US, given how it looked like we were capable of blowing the doors off of Jamaica, the way we were playing.

Was cool listening to Donovan, Jones and Edu talking about how bright the US team's future is in the midfield/attack with the trio of 20-year olds, Pulisic, McKennie and the injured Tyler Adams.

Except Berhalter was already playing Adams out of position early.

Break did wonders for Jamaica, as feared. They're applying a lot more pressure and we're getting sloppy with the ball - bad combo.

What an amazing run by Pulisic there - could've made a better pass at the end, but to completely beat two defenders like he did is just special.

Jamaica scores after a giveaway. 2-1. Have to close this out. If Zardes had converted in all alone on the keeper from 15 yards out, it would be a different game. As a striker, he needs to convert that one.
