You do realize that's how a National Champion was crowned back then, right? By your logic, college football should ignore all championships awarded to teams prior to the 2014 playoff system. Kentucky fans and low BB IQ go hand in hand I guess.

14 straight feels pretty damn good, I'll say that! No, seriously, what's it like playing, and losing, in the 1st round of the NIT? [roll]

"Seriously" I told you what it was like.

I might add that losing as a #1 or #2 seed as many times as KU has in the NCAA Tournament, should convince you that I am ABSOLUTELY "serious" about your Big 12 Titles.[laughing]

Yea, I'll take losing in the NCAA's over the NIT any year! What is Kansas now, 28 or 29 years straight in the NCAA's? Isn't that the record in D1?

Kansas is nothing without the big 12 officials. They have single handily won them about 7 of the 14 during the fake streak. KU fans celebrate this like it is the bestest thing in the whole world. Worst & biggest pansy fans in all of sport. Kansas grads deliver my paper & pizza. They scrub my toilets & clean my house. Kansas grads/fans are the bottom of the barrel in life. That is fact & undeniable.

Does it feel as good as being knocked out by 15 seeded teams in the NCAA's? You guys under perform every year in the Tournament under Bill lol.

This is exactly what happens when you have a coach with a win at all cost mentality to keep up the big boys and continually recruits kids with character issues.

Its like losing to Bucknell, Bradley and Northern Iowa, or losing in the first weekend with Andrew Wiggins, or being the #1 overall seed, getting a cakewalk to the Final Four, then choking to VCU.
It feels like those tears Thomas Robinson cried in 2012 after we won the National Title.

Don’t remember the last time we lost to a 15 seed but okay.

It’s great to know UCLA is the greatest program of all time tho. That’s what I learned in this thread.

So UK has how many national titles since 1985? 3. Kansas has 2.

But remember UCLA is the greatest program of all time.

An idiot is someone who bases all time programs off of national championships. Again, so UCLA is the greatest program of all time? Funny no one answers that now.

@KUhawks34

Kansas Tournament success lately has been the following:

05- 1st round loss to Bucknell who was a 15 seed
06- 1st round loss to mighty Bradley who was a 15 Seed
09- 2nd round as 3 seed to 11 seed Dayton
10- 2nd round as 1 seed to 8 seed Northern Iowa
11- As 1 seed lost to 11 seed VCU
12--Lost Championship to UK lol...
13- Lost as 1 seed to 4 seed Michagan in Swet 16
14- Lost as 2 seed too 10 seed Stanford
15- Lost as 2 seed to 7 seeded Wichita State
16- Lost as 1 Seed to 2 seeded Villanova
17- Lost as 1 seed to 3 seeded Oregon

Only 1 year since 05 Has Kansas lived up to their seeding and they lost the title to us. Kansas is the biggest underachiever in tournament play there has been since Bill Self took over their program.

I’m not arguing our tourney results at all. No question we need to do better. It’s not as cut and dry as that because some of those we were overseeded. But at the end of the day we need to do better.

I only consider 15, 16, 14 and 11 and 10 bad losses. 14 maybe not because Michigan made it to the title game but we definitely choked that away.

By the way we did not lose to Dayton in 09. We lost to Michigan State.

And making it to the Elite is no shame.

Bradley and bucknell don’t bother me. Especially Bradley. All freshman

Dude no one is arguing the 2012 game. You were the better team. So many of you sound like 5 year old children with your arguments. Now I see where the UK fans get the stereotype. Then again I am a paying member on a free website. There is a reason you are all posting on a free website and not the actual UK board.

Kentucky has the most all time wins, the best winning percentage, most tournament appearances, NCAA tourney wins, most NCAA tournament games played, 17 Final Fours and 8 national championships. Five different coaches have won NC here. Kentucky is the best and it ain't close. Kansas is barely on the radar.

It's good to see you admit that you receive favoritism from the NCAA when they do the seeding for the tourney. The Big 12 is consistently overrated and your seeding is a result of winning a title in a conference that's not as good as they are hyped up to be.

KU is top 3 in every single category you just mentioned besides Natty Titles. We have 3. Hardly anything to be ashamed about.

Kentucky has 18 National Championships (Helms, Premo Power Poll & NCAA) but the only ones that count are the NCAA. 8>3. Know your place in history little brother.

These down years must be hell for you guys. I can't even begin to imagine what it would feel like being 5th in the conference standings going into March.

Thoughts and prayers.
