IQ not shooting well but give him credit for how he playing overall performance
This was a good half of experience for Quickley. He had to play PG and he played much better than he has lately. That's good for us going forward.
nice first half... up 8 and couldnt shoot the 3 worth a crud. Its gonna be a battle because I dont think LSU will go away quietly. But so far so good
Quickley played well with Hagans out. IMO
Mostly on the defensive end staying in front and bothering shots, 4 boards and but did ok running the offense.

Our 2 point guards have 4 fouls combined and Waters has 0...
Quickley with solid minutes in his learning process. Didn't kill us and hustled. We will need him to do more at a certain point.
Man, another made three or a few made FTs and this would be a 15 point lead.

LSU perplexes me. They have great athletes and they're very quick. They don't seem to be a very good basketball team though but yet they're 19 and 4 so they obviously they are. Just my observation from the first half. I think that's because they never quit so that makes me nervous
LSU hitting from 3. Had 5 different guys make one. They won't shoot like that the 2nd half.
3 pt shooting. Still a big worry. Gotta watch 3 pt differential in the 2nd half. -9 right now. LSU will keep shooting.
I mentioned this last game.
The past 11 games the first 5-10 of the first half seems like the opposing team is getting what they want them rest of the half it’s lights out.
They have been down double digits 5 times this year and have comeback to win 4 of them including a 16 point deficit against Auburn.
This LSU team isn’t going anywhere. We absolutely cannot do what we did against MSU or we will be in big trouble.
Eventually Waters is going to do what Waters does, which is hit a crap load of threes off one foot while leaning to the side, smoking a cigarette from half court.
I fully expect LSU to be on a year the second half. They had 3 guys including Reid with 2 fouls that sat. They will be tough in the second half

They're jumping at us on the 3 pt line. Have to be able to drive and finish which we did pretty well that half. May open up some threes late if we have the legs. And this team looks in so much better shape than last years team. Hagans, Herro and Johnson seem to never get tired.
Waters had hands all over our guys.

Really impressed with the guys holding an 8 point lead with Hagans on the bench the majority of the first half. Great signs moving forward seeing EQ in there and working hard!

I might agree without 3 of the worst turnovers I've seen. Can't have more than 1 as a backup imo but hit a 3 and played solid D. That foul he got when Waters pushed off was criminal!
I’ll take +8 at the half, but we missed some good chances to have a better lead.
