LSU perplexes me. They have great athletes and they're very quick. They don't seem to be a very good basketball team though but yet they're 19 and 4 so they obviously they are. Just my observation from the first half. I think that's because they never quit so that makes me nervous

That seems to describe every LSU team.

Waters is going to go a little nuts at some point. Have to be ready to answer a run by LSU

LSU started out 3-4 from 3 and finished 2-10. I think that is the mental fatigue our defense puts on them> Been seeing a lot of teams start out hot and then freeze out later in the game. Now Mississippi State did the opposite, probably because our defense got a bit lax after the big lead.

I might agree without 3 of the worst turnovers I've seen. Can't have more than 1 as a backup imo but hit a 3 and played solid D. That foul he got when Waters pushed off was criminal!

That foul call was .... sublimely ridiculous. Only... not so sublime...

Gotta be hard for Waters to face off against a fresh IQ rotating with a fresh Hagans in the second half.

I hope he presses and starts taking bad shots.

Pretty clear he had a hard time getting us in the offense and finding open shooter. Tough for him finding his role. He is a scorer trying to find his fit in the offense off the bench and then has to run the point against a solid opponent because of fouls.

He didn't kill us. He will learn from this and he better because it will happen again. Hagans will get a tough whistle again sooner or later.

Yes they do. And it forces Cal to think about substitutions...which he's not the best at.

Sometimes I feel like he's just playing to keep it close and keep guys out of foul trouble in the first half so he can release the dogs in the second.

Ya think Vitale has a helicopter waiting to take him to The Bucket for the U6/Puke game?

Thank god we finally made them pay for the press. Almost thought he was going to miss that bunny for a second.
