Let's be honest, Mal is a top 10 pick based purely on potential, not because he was a great player while he was at Duke.We had the best player in the country at the 4 and a top 10 pick at the 5, with Brown and Pat and Gillis. Not sure we are better in the frontcourt. Possibly if pat gets a lot better and Brown is healthy and Boozer is an All American.

He only played 21 minutes a game for a reason.

id say great in his time w/ duke doing what we needed him to do in regards to rim supportI respect your opinion but “great” is a stretch in my opinion.
I would say good, if Mal was a great rim deterrent then how would you describe say Hakeem Olajuwon?
I think many are going off his ability to alter shots which he did a lot but kid has only been playing basketball for three years. So with that I will agree with boogie .id say great in his time w/ duke doing what we needed him to do in regards to rim support

they left for New Orleans like a deadbeat dad going out for milk and cigarettes.
Cedric was sitting right behind our guys at the draft lottery. Hopefully he stays with usGreat news on Slim. Really hope Cedric stays- he’s better than I realized.
1.8% chance and they get the #1 pick. Not only that, the WNBA team also got the #1 pickI’m not a conspiracy theorist but that’s the most rigged thing I’ve ever seen.
It is definitely riggedI’m not a conspiracy theorist but that’s the most rigged thing I’ve ever seen.
Yahoo's latest mock has Coward at 14; oof. Doubt he goes that high but he is rising.
(If Coward stays in there is a spot for you Tyrese.)
When I was a kid I never watched the NBA. I didn't care for it. I just liked playing basketball, never missed a duke game, and cried every time Duke lostNo one 18 would rather play college basketball. Us dinosaurs would but that is it.
What's wrong with Queens? Massage parlor on every corner!I wanted to play college hoops but I wasn't good enough. But at 18 if they offered me 2 million to run track or....go to classes all day, then have my coach yell at me for 2 hours while running, then go to the library to study for 3 hours, then go back to my roach infested Queens apartment, well you can imagine what I would choose.
Pretty sure we can wave bye-bye.Ringer has Coward 15 to OKC. Seems like a lot of buzz around him and starting to feel like that ship has sailed for Duke.
