Marcus Lee has better instincts. Watch him for just a minute. His eyes are watching the ball and surrounding players a lot better. He would get caught on a screen or miss easy buckets because he wasn't in position last year. It looks like he has worked on this. I'm rooting for Lee to be a spark this season. He has all the tools

Cal has tons of flexibility in coaching this team. He can go small, big, scoring, defense, press, zone, etc. lots of options.

I want to see a point guard try and stay in front of Ulis this season and keep him out of the lane.

I'm excited to see Poy have a little bounce in his step once he got warmed up.

Matthews will be hard to keep off the floor. He's the type of defender that Cal loves.

Ullis is even better than I thought he would be, which is saying something.

Marcus Lee looks like he's finally comfortable on the floor. The athletic ability was always there, but things seemed to move too fast for him sometimes. Not now.

Skal must be way better than he has shown tonight. I know it's just a scrimmage and that may be the way he's viewing it, but he looks very soft.

John is a KY legend. Welcome home. He was a kid who helped save this program at a critical time. He will forever be a hero in the mountains and the Bluegrass.....as for the team I love our guard play. We are not going to be as strong in the post as I thought but big Towns spoiled us.

Might be good for him to tell a few UK stories. That would help get him more comfortable

Briscoe changed his shot over the summer...... man oh man change it back ....

looks like he's shooting the ball off of his ring finger.

The passing is already in decent form for the start of the season. Love the energy of the team and again, the quickness. I agree about rebounding. That will be a key factor.

Poy worked with a shooting coach over the summer. If he can be a reliable 3-point shooter throughout the season, we will be even more of a handful than I thought we would be.

murray when he drives and kicks could be our best play. when he's not going to the line or scoring. we have pick and roll with skal/lee and pick and pop with poythress. ulis runs the show and we have briscoe or matthews weak side. our offense will be different than what were use to, but effective the same. and i mean badass.
