Glad to see this has Trump's attention.

"Roughly three-quarters of the Colorado River’s flows are used by farmers and ranchers who hold powerful legal rights under the century-old system that governs Western water. That means that during times of shortage, cities and suburbs typically see their supplies cut first while farmers and ranchers can continue their full draws from the waterway."

TJ was touting the century-old system. As we can all see, that system is failing.

"“You can’t fix this by focusing on the conservation efforts of the cities. It’s just not enough water.”

"Still, the river supplies some of the country’s best farmland, producing not just alfalfa, but also vegetables, citrus, lettuce and other crops. Barncastle noted that as more land comes out of production, “it won’t take long for that affordability crisis to hit home for average Americans.”

"Crowley County, Colorado, offers a cautionary tale of what can happen when large amounts of farmland are taken out of production without a plan in place. Farmers in the southeast corner of the state began selling their water rights off to Front Range cities more than a half-century ago. As more and more land went out of production, farm supply stores, railway infrastructure, restaurants and grocery stores closed, too, devastating the region’s tax base. Today, the county seat is little more than a ghost town."

Everyone should understand that this will impact our food supply. Do we move the farmers to areas with more water? I think that will eventually be the solution. If we just force them to retire/repurpose the land, that's going to impact food supplies, and costs at the grocery store.

And he'll get it, because he earned it !

Fla AND DeSantis are now in the process of lowering property taxes.

My home on Jupiter Island, like Rifle in Colorado, was worth in the low million dollars, my Florida property tax $ 7,000 - .

Matt's home W of WP is UNDER $ 900,000, the NY real estate taxes = $ 21,000 + !!!

I like RDS as well. I'd vote for him for President in the general election.

I'm probably about as smart as RDS (not as good at baseball though), but what's hilarious is I actually know what RDS was doing with his tweet and why you are a sucker at taking the implication at face value.

But yes, RDS agrees that "slow counting is bad." 100%. So do I.

He also knows that slow counting is not the reason Dems overperform in the ballots returned last. That's because their voters are disproportionately represented in late returned ballots. RDS knows this ... he just realizes you don't know this and so he tweets something factual that implies malfeasance.

But if you simply argued that slow counting is bad and nothing more ... I'm with you 100%. But it's bad because it makes the results look iffy, not because they actually are.
Brick Train also took the death jab because he was told it was good by the same people who forced it into young males - many of whom now have heart problems.

Yep, Dems won't finish counting votes in California until the US has already turned 250 and the World Cup is down to 8 teams. Cali with the 4th largest GDP in the world can't count votes on election day like Florida to highlight their dominating Dem victories. Rather, they take 5 weeks because there is no better way.

Keep covering your eyes as your head is buried in the sand.

I find it hard to believe that you have read his mind and he wanted to waste his and everybody's time for my vote(or anyone like me) as he wasn't exactly in any tight races in Florida, especially post 2020.

He's running for President again, that's where he wants GOP votes.

I've read RDS tweets and other things for years, he never says anything factually inaccurate and but he often leaves the reader with a different impression than the facts support. It's humorous.

Feels like California's failure to count votes and its failure to address various issues (lack of sufficient housing, homelessness) are both related to the same issue ... poor Democratic governance.

I just understand that the voters there actually seem to support this, for reasons related to their views on the national GOP.

This is scary. Anti Ice protestors invaded a church in Minneapolis during a worship service and the liberal city attorney is saying it is not OK (weakly) but she won't charge them with anything, not even a civil misdemeanor.

The Feds still have charges pending but allowing protestors to invade a church for political reasons is a new escalation. If it was the Obama center in Chicago and the protesters also were "peaceful" I think it would be treated differently.

Boomer Sooner !

Only been in Oklahoma once in my life; UCinn vs Tulsa

Mad Dog was Center vs all conference NG. HH asked could he block the NG if NG was in the onside gap. "No problem, Coach ! Only I know when I'm snapping the ball !"

Mary Anne flew into KC, I drove my rental car to Tulsa. Long boring drive, BUT Mad Dog handled the NG and UCinn won !

What would they charge them with? Some of these protestors from my understanding weren’t even from Minnesota. What would charging them with a civil misdemeanor cost the state to prosecute each one? Does the fine cover the trial costs? I’d leave it to the Feds. They clearly violated federal law, which is why they are facing federal charges.

Think of how much the averages would be reduced officially if Police arrested and Prosecutors tried and Judges adjudicated without political prejudice.

Matt still hasn't been allowed to go to NJ or Mass to make multiple arrests on car jack and home invasion gangs !

He just made multiple arrests on armed robberies at Pokémon stores of over $ 100,000.
