Why can’t Nebraska relief pitchers throw strikes. Seems like they try and paint the corners and they don’t get the call I’m not complaining about the umps I’m complaining about why they can’t throw strikes

That try to make perfect pitches instead of pitching to contact. Someone needs to ask Rob about this s because it happens game after game so obviously he is fine with how they are approaching it .

That style works well if the umpire has a big strike zone

I tend to agree with you, extremely frustrating. Especially with the offensive depth Nebraska has along with two solid starters. But when a coach like Childress who has put so many pitchers into mlb is making those decisions- maybe Childress is taking the right approach. Nebraska has had reasonable success in baseball and without a huge nil budget. Credibility should follow results. I’m willing to give it to those who have earned it- even when frustrated in the short term. I certainly can’t do that with Rhule and football.
