At the time it appeared so but Nebraska won 7 in a row and some other teams dropped a game or two. Still no guarantee in the regional .but without the 7 in a row we would have zero chance to host

That try to make perfect pitches instead of pitching to contact. Someone needs to ask Rob about this s because it happens game after game so obviously he is fine with how they are approaching it .
That style works well if the umpire has a big strike zone
I tend to agree with you, extremely frustrating. Especially with the offensive depth Nebraska has along with two solid starters. But when a coach like Childress who has put so many pitchers into mlb is making those decisions- maybe Childress is taking the right approach. Nebraska has had reasonable success in baseball and without a huge nil budget. Credibility should follow results. I’m willing to give it to those who have earned it- even when frustrated in the short term. I certainly can’t do that with Rhule and football.

Yes, and most of our relievers can’t throw a basic strike, let alone paint a corner…
