I have to imagine with the shortened season, and how many upsets we've already seen.. the seeding in this tournament is way out of whack. Not in the sense that the pollsters/SC so much got things wrong, just that some teams didn't get to showcase as much.
There HAS to be come correlation between the COVID season and how crazy this tournament has been.
Kenpom showed Loyola Chicago ranked #8 prior to the NCAAT. I'll be honest. Oregon getting a free pass in the first round really doesn't sit well with me watching them lay the pipe to Iowa. I mean there's got to be a decent advantage having fresh legs for this game.
I was thinking the same thing.
Then again the flipside to that is if Iowa hammered them today people would say well Oregon didn't play in 10 days and they are rusty lol

Totally agree, but it also wouldn't surprise me to see Oregon vs. Loyola. It's just such a strange year.Despite all of this it wouldn't shock me to see a Gonzaga Baylor final.
Got that feel to it doesn't it? A bunch of experts called that one. They just got all the undercard games wrong.Despite all of this it wouldn't shock me to see a Gonzaga Baylor final.
Not sure I totally understand what you’re saying, but Altman is already on his 5th Sweet 16 at Oregon himself.I see people saying that this years champ will have an asterisk next to their name. I do Oregon will for whatever they accomplish this tournament.
Only the forth time they have advanced to the sweet 16.****Didn't have to play a first round game.
Altman looks like a good replacement for CalNot sure I totally understand what you’re saying, but Altman is already on his 5th Sweet 16 at Oregon himself.
Yep I want both Kansas and Michigan out so I'll be rooting for the Zags as long as those two are still alive. If Gonzaga were to get knocked off, It would open the door wide open for Kansas.....That is the only reason I want them to continue to survive until Bama or Baylor gets them.
I usually do the same (thu/fri). Since the Cats aren't playing, I decided to save my personal days for a couple of golf outings. This is true lol.
Tho I suppose even if I was working today I'd still be streaming this haha.
I normally take off the Thursday/Friday of the tournament but since no Thursday games I went with Fri/Mon
Gonzaga would definitely be a top 10 team. The rest of the country being sorry the has nothing to do with them lol.Oregon looks totally superior to Iowa & could beat absolutely anyone today. It goes back to what I've been saying: this is such a weak, weak year in college basketball. Gonzaga would barely crack top 15, 15-20 years ago.
NO ONE gets the Duke treatmentGonzaga getting the Duke treatment
Watch how Gonzaga stesses the other guys offense constantly with three quarter court pressure and traps in the half court pushing you out of what you want to set up. Then mix in some man to man and then back to the semi pressure again. It creates mental and physical fatigue for the offense and is exactly what Ive dreamed of us doing the last 10 years with our athletes.
I can still dream . . .
After watching UK flounder all season, I’m astounded by the ease at which some teams put the ball through the hoop.
I talked to him a few times at Oregon. Really nice guy on those conversations I had with him.Back in 89 I went to a few Marshall games. Got to meet Altman. He was down to earth nice guy back then. No idea if he is still the same now.
I believe that was his first coaching job. I know he only stayed one year and they didn't have a great season. Some AD must have saw something in him they liked.
