**NCAA First round Davidson vs Kentucky OFFICIAL GAME THREAD**

[Bill - Shy Cat]

Man, what the hell happened to our defense?

They been reading about how damn good they are. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

[*CatinIL*]

Value possessions.

Yep...

[RoyKent]

They are making every tough 3 and we are missing wide open looks.

That can’t continue. Plus we already have 4 turnovers. Recipe for major trouble.

[buck8113]

they sure don't miss

[CatsRWild]

Too many open looks make this team beat you off the bounce, stay in front and we’re good.

[MychalG]

They can't contain our guards so keep driving, driving, driving. We CAN'T give open looks from 3..We need PJ to be MAN down low, they can't handle him..

[gomminit33]

Damn. I originally had us losing this game in my bracket and just couldn't do it so I took us all the way. Don't tell me my original gut instinct was correct.

[ala_kat2]

I think our Zone D would give up fewer open 3's than our M2M. Too much scrambling on the drive and kicks.

[Cal's Kat]

Dear Wenyen,

1. Don't turn your back on the ball when playing defense in the post.
2. Make shooters drive the ball where your help defense is.

With Love,
CK

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

Davidson is one of the best teams in terms of offensive eff. They are gonna make shots

Their D is terrible tho so we’ll be fine

[blubo]

Which Wildcats can keep up this pace???

Ourskay:

[Schwagg]

Gabriel getting used like a diaper.

[Jamal Mercer]

I’m not too worried yet. It doesn’t look like they can guard anyone on our team.

Just get a few stops here and there and we will outscore them.

[bluefan65]

Gotta guard the 3 better.

[jameslee32]

Vandy would dominate these Cats.

[UKChamps2012]

Gabriel has broke down defensively 3 times already!

[RoyKent]

SGA - come on man. Trying to do WAY too much

[Crawfords Corner]

We've given up a crap load of wide open missed 3s this year. This Davidson team won't be like a lot of our other opponents and miss a ton of wide open looks

[armchairpg]

So sick of playing teams who just jack threes the whole game

They have all 5 guys outside the arc

[*CatinIL*]

Forced shot by Alexander

[ala_kat2]

We're not playing smart

[bookerfan66]

Damn. I originally had us losing this game in my bracket and just couldn't do it so I took us all the way. Don't tell me my original gut instinct was correct.

Good Lord.The game just started.

[TortElvisII]

Is that Roger Ayers I can't see he's about half mile away.

[KyCatFan1]

Ugg to much one on one. Pass to get open. Also pick the right guys to shoot.

[RoyKent]

Why is SKJ shooting that?!?!

[Kycatspaws]

PJ with basket!!

[Lost In FL]

PJ!

[Bill - Shy Cat]

WTF are SKJ and PJ taking 15 ft jumpers for?

[CatsRWild]

They play like Wisconsin gotta grind out a lead before they’ll play faster

[Jamal Mercer]

They can’t guard Washington. Too strong

[jameslee32]

PJ AND 1!!!

[bbnkat02]

And 1!

[JasonS.]

STRONG

[richbrookstomato]

Penetrate and dish, penetrate and dish, penetrate and dish!!

[ala_kat2]

SKJ can hit that 15' shot but it's not falling lately.

[bbnkat02]

Give that kid an Oscar on the head whip. BS

[RoyKent]

Richards....SMH. Dude just can’t do anything right

[*CatinIL*]

Why is SKJ shooting that?!?!

I was wondering the same thing...

[armchairpg]

Now Richards decides to use his hands!

[RoyKent]

Would be nice to hit a three
