It is rather sad how easily and quickly some fans give up on talented players as if they were disposible commodities instead of college students. EJ Montgomery was the 11th ranked player in the entire country in the class of 2018. Everyone wanted him. He has been in our program for one full year. Last year, he played 558 minutes, because he was playing behind Washington and Travis. For comparison, Tyler Herro played 1,206 minutes. Montgomery has not developed as quickly as we want. I agree with that. But he played some quality minutes late last year, and he is sure to get lots of minutes this year. Is he “weak, passive, and can’t score”, as you said? That is nuts.

Just for clarity, never said I played D1 basketball. You seem to insert yourself into these arguments every year. Calling posters out if they played D1 basketball. Do you have some fascination with lurking on others posts? Also, it’s worth noting you never asked the one person who claimed he played college basketball- @kl40504 - where and when he played D1 basketball. Spit swappers?
Apologies to you. I played D2 football way back in the 80’s so I understand and relate to you. Your opinions will have some weight with me from this point on. I also do a lot of work in Wise County. Big Stone Gap. Beautiful campus UVA Wise.
Thanks for the apology. I ran track and played basketball and was lucky enough to get a full track scholarship in track at East Tennessee State University and finished my last three years at ETSU. When I graduated I had the school record in the 800.
No, you are always telling other posters that unless they played the game to shut up and leave the discussion to people that know what they are talking about, so evidently you know nothing about the game yourself.
