Me and my son went to be extras when they filmed at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans ballpark. They had changed the whole place into the MB Mermen park. McBride was hilarious riffing lines about his catcher being too hard to see being the reason for his bad pitching . The catcher was a black gentleman. Most of what he improvised wasn't in the show. IRL, McBride had a rag-arm. Threw like an actor.

Exactly. Freeman has serious issues. Tremendous talent. Zero doubt about his talent. However, he’s had major foot problems. A young big man with foot issues, AND, a questionable character, is probably not worth investing a lot of money into.
