Sounds like it might be time for bed if you’re this crankyWhy not 6A? You’re a clown, IC has 300 kids in their school and their lack of depth clearly showed. Clearly your 2A favorite can take advantage of that? Grow up

Have to imagine MC’s top two receivers are going to have big games. Loyola has the offense to stay in it though. The Loyola RB is fantasticLoyola and MC next week will be a doozy!
Going platinum for sureSomething tells me the @Cross Bones OUTT will be back over 100 comments this week.
I kind of liked the horns the Loyola fans were blowing.Shout out to the Loyola fans. They were in prime playoff form that second half. Can’t deny the noise level disrupted IC that entire third quarter when they had the ball near the Loyola fans’ side of the field. Was a great atmosphere
Thought those were outlawed?I kind of liked the horns the Loyola fans were blowing.
Not 100 but enough. Will it ? MC might score 100.
Was only half serious. I wasn’t overly impressed with the IC team I saw play a few weeks ago. They are definitely good, but not elite. Obviously a contender in 3A. Bowen is a freak and looks like a man amongst boys. Their qb, although undersized, is scrappy and slippery. Really liked him. Otherwise, nothing special. Maybe they didn’t bring their A game to Burbank? They had to have been pumped for this Loyola game, or Loyola came out flat, or a combination of both.Byron will be fine
Difficult to say. Their competition is far better now than it was then.Is this IC team better than the 2016 version?

It's a completely different soundHow do you hear the whistle on the field?

The horns are obnoxious. I'd have to leave the stadium and find a quiet bar. They should still ban them.
I will be handing them out in the parking lot next weekThe horns are obnoxious. I'd have to leave the stadium and find a quiet bar.
Everyone with a vuvuzela will be sounding taps for the Ramblers.I will be handing them out in the parking lot next week![]()
Any idea how many IC kids played with Bowen in YTFL?
I think the Benet QB played with them alsoI can think of 8
Yeah, but too much. 1, 7, 9, 19 and 11 never came off the field. QB and 12 only guys not going both ways. The bigs did some subbing but saw action on both sides of the ball. They gave it all the hadIs IC playing its starters?

Exactly….Most 3A and below teams have a bunch of two way players. IC will be fine.
But once you get into the 3A playoffs the injury risk of two way players is the same for most teams. Just saw that IC threw for 367 yards against the #1 team in the state. Seriously! If IC can stay healthy they’ll run through 3a. With all those kids starting both ways you worry about someone getting hurt.
Even more impressively, nearly all of those 367 yards were in one half. But once you get into the 3A playoffs the injury risk of two way players is the same for most teams. Just saw that IC threw for 367 yards against the #1 team in the state. Seriously!
Do you really believe that?... against the #1 team in the state. Seriously!

My take is that it's just a matter of one team having to play guys both ways and one team not. Fatigue is a real factor.Or does it mean that Loyola was looking ahead to the Mt Carmel game. At half time they locked in and shut down ic in the second half? Obviously what they did is impressive they also got shut down the other half
Okay, top three thoughDo you really believe that?
It was certainly extremely well-timed and what I don't see as any sort of dirty hit. But as per my reading/understanding of the NFHS rule 9-4-3P, it broke the rules. A ref would need to chime in on it. And I'm sure I'd be pissed if it was called against my team.
- The penalty on Bowen hit that could have halted all of LA’s 2nd half momentum was a good call. He launched at a defenseless receiver and didn’t wrap his arms.
His left foot was on the ground and his right shoulder pad was in the receivers chest. Did the receiver drop the ball before contact?
If his foot is on the ground when contact is made, how is that a launch and why was the receiver defenseless? He caught the ball and needed to be tackledIt was certainly extremely well-timed and what I don't see as any sort of dirty hit.
