Headed up to Elmhurst for what should be a beautiful night for a game. Has IC graduated from being the perennial bane of Ridgewood and Elmwood Park to being a team that can truly compete with the best teams in the state? Will Loyola's size and depth be enough to slow down IC's elite skill players? I believe IC will make this one competitive longer than most folks expect, perhaps even being tied at halftime. Were IC to pull the upset and go on to defeat their remaining opponents, it would have to be a strong contender for the most impressive small-school season ever. I'm predicting Loyola 35, IC 21.

Pulling for IC to upset Loyola. Feel like IC is at a point where it can compete with just about anyone outside of the top 5 (ESL, Loyola, LWE, BR, MC). Upset prediction is IC 29 Loyola 28. Realistically believe the final outcome will be Loyola 42 IC 6. Would be the greatest upset in IHSA history
